Watching the animation from Japan, as well as some movies that are not typical Hollywood such as Leon, it is fair to say that America really can have no idea when it comes to making entertainment. However, some of my favourite cartoons are GI Joe and X Men. You just have to love something that is going to take a chance and have a female lead, or strong female protagonists without turning them into Lara Croft knock offs.

 

As for anime, the mind twisting can actually get to you after a while. After watching End of Evangelion, all I have to say is Hideaki Anno is a sick man by making it a form of revenge and making many of the fans suffer watching it.

You're Under Arrest is one of if not the best anime I have seen. Not only is it good and funny, it does not mess with your head the way Evangelion, Key, Jinroh, and a multitude of other anime do. And what is more, apart from the specials that have been done of it I have not come across an episode that has been a let down yet, like some Simpsons and Futurama have been. I wish there was some place I can get them all.

I would have to tie in between FLCL and Robot Chicken, which are both on [adult swim]. [adult swim] RULES. Luk3us I bet you might even like some cartoons on there.
