Oh and i don't live in IL any more i live in CA oh and i was just playing a kick ass ZH game when ZH crashed, it gave the error hardware may be overheating Share this post Link to post
Saracen 16 Posted June 24, 2004 Alright Hans, long time no see mate! What else you been up to? Get some cooling in that system of yours, or stop overclocking the damn thing... If it's neither then maybe you have faulty components.. I had that problem, found out it was my secondary slave hard drive overheating. The ball bearings were misaligned and thus causing the disc to spin at half it's RPM despite the fact that it was still trying to spin at it's full rate. The result was that the disc was working overtime trying to run at 7500RPM and heat built up, once it couldn't take it, it overheated. It went on like that for over a year and I couldn't understand it until I bothered opening it up constantly to check for faulty components. Eventually the thing gave up on me, failed, then stopped working altogether.... So many overheats took it's toll on the poor fella :lol: Now I'm one 80GB hard drive down, low on space, and low on cash to get a replacement 80Gig :cry: Share this post Link to post

Hans5849 0 Posted June 27, 2004 i was posting last night right before bed and closed the window on accident... that isn't my comp that crashed, thats the HTPC with the 6 foot wide screen that my aunt and uncle have in the basement, no my comp owns any here My Comp um lets see what i've been up to, last year i worked both my jobs to the max i was working 6 days a week 50+ hours a week, and i spent it on the following things: Computer $1300, Car Insurance $800, Food we'll say at least $1200, Drugs: at lest $2000. Yea, pot sucks up a lot of $, but im not on it any more so i think i can think. That sums up the last year of my life, oh and i graduated HS.
