Sonic 296 Posted July 27, 2012 Went to a late night screening of The Dark Knight Rises last night. Well 8PM is not really that late, but when the movie is like 2 and half hours long it gets late. But damn!! What a movie. I won't discuss plot points here, but lets just say its a fitting end to the entire trilogy. The Dark Knight was a fantastic movie in my book. Is The Dark Knight Rises a better movie? some people argue the 2nd film was better, but I feel they are equal. So who else has seen it yet. Share this post Link to post
Plok 327 Posted July 27, 2012 I'm eagerly waiting for the moment when I'm buying the tickets. The first two were pure awesome, expecting the same from the third. Share this post Link to post
Doctor Destiny 41 Posted July 27, 2012 Didn't care much for the other one so I'm going to pass on this. Share this post Link to post
PurpleGaga27 40 Posted July 28, 2012 I rather see it on DVD or Blu-ray when it's released. Share this post Link to post
Inferno 22 Posted July 28, 2012 I will be watching this in cinema, as soon as I can walk (tore my leg muscle a week ago, fml ;x) Share this post Link to post
Sonic 296 Posted July 28, 2012 I rather see it on DVD or Blu-ray when it's released. Its something that needs to be experienced on the big screen. Bane sounds so awesome over the theatre sound system. I will be watching this in cinema, as soon as I can walk (tore my leg muscle a week ago, fml ;x) Toughen up..... I've got an abdominal muscle strain, I still went Share this post Link to post
Inferno 22 Posted July 28, 2012 Toughen up..... I've got an abdominal muscle strain, I still went Ouch Still though, it's like 5 km to the city center, which is hard to do on crutches. And the bus doesn't stop near Share this post Link to post
TheBlackOut 7 Posted August 16, 2012 This was a really good movie, though the theater I went to had terrible seats. I had to get up and stretch at points. Not a complaint against the movie, though it did cause me think that the movie was dragging on a bit. Man though, Bane was really good. Is this really going to be it for the series by this director? I mean.. leaving it how he did... Share this post Link to post
Sonic 296 Posted August 17, 2012 Yes Nolan is finished with the Batman movies. Same with Bale, he's done play Wayne/Batman. Share this post Link to post
PurpleGaga27 40 Posted August 17, 2012 (edited) I wish I want to see Christian Bale (as John Connor) again in Terminator 5, if it gets into production. He was great being the prophet and a fighter too. Edited August 17, 2012 by zocom7 Share this post Link to post
Plok 327 Posted August 17, 2012 Forgot to mention... I went to see it a week or so ago. Chris Nolan never lets me down. I was also promised a 15 mins pause which never came. Oh well, more awesome for me BUT A FRIENDZONED BANE??????? Share this post Link to post
Gben 20 Posted September 5, 2012 So I was the only one let down by this Batman? I felt empty at the end. The character development of Bane was wholly missing... Bane's final climax fight was an anti-climax... Batman never takes his mask off and yet everybody know's his secret identity?!? Anne Hathaway as Catwoman was unconvincing choice... zero sex appeal... for me I wanted a more "experienced/mature" character with a more travelled-the-world-and-can't-escape-this-life-haunted-harried-desperate-vibe... No drama... No tension... No satisfaction... No creative title for the third film... Batman Begins, The Dark Night, the Dark Knight "Rises"! I could go on... This could be a technical issue - but I struggled and strained to hear Bane's dialogue. It took effort and I didn't enjoy that. Still time had no meaning, and I was glued to my seat happily ignoring the calls of my bladder. Laughing at how realistic this improbable story was in comparison with the STUPID spiderman movie I saw 2 weeks before. (shudders at spiderman-experience again). And I did enjoy the Robin B-Story... I ended up watching this 2-3 days after the shooting. Share this post Link to post
