CNCNZ.com Poll: Epic Unit Battle

Recommended Posts

Following on from our last poll, Mammoth Tank Battle! Which one is your all time favourite? It's time for a new poll. We are continuing with our "Battle Theme" for this one, but this time the focus is on the Epic Units from Kane's Wrath. So, the new poll question is: Epic Unit Battle! Which one is your favourite? Is it The Redeemer from the Brotherhood of Nod? Perhaps you just like massive oversized tanks in the form of the GDI's M.A.R.V.? Or maybe it the Scrin's spider-like Eradicator Hexapod is more to your liking?

If you are reading this update on the main page, just look to your right and vote in the poll box. If you are reading this via the forums, click here to cast your vote. And, as always, don't forget to share any feedback or comments about this poll as well.

Here are the results of our previous poll, Mammoth Tank Battle! Which one is your all time favourite? Leading with 26% of the vote, the Soviet Apocalypse Tank from Red Alert 2 is the most favoured of all the Mammoth Tanks. The full results of this poll can be found right here.

MARV of course... big ass gun, 4 infantry slots and tiberium vacuum - what's not to love?

I only thought the giant walking robot was stupid!

No mon(with Jamaica accent)!!!!!!!! Redeemer is falling behind Monnnnnnnn!!

anyway, Redemmer got to be the best, of then of course I am kidding myself, the MARV is a far more powerful unit, thanks to the designer unfair programming!! come on, it super tiberium harvesting ability is already overpowered!!!

edit: i think what they should have done/patch, is that MARV can have the ability to "clean" rather than "harvest" tiberium like than, i remember once i got the tank rolling, all my money invested into it came back in no time, and more, way more. my credit just kept rising like crazy!!

Whenever I built a MARV in skirmishes, I would tend to avoid the tiberium patches as it wasn't any fun acquiring so much money so fast. The Redeemer would have been a better unit if its weapon had area of effect damage like it would appear to be capable of, but the slow rate of fire and damage radius combined with its minimal unit capacity and inability to earn extra money to pay for itself like the others made it the weakest unit.

true. why don't you add a black hand into the slot?? i normally would put a rocket squad and a black hand into one, the flamer would act as a Purifier or a flame commandeered avatar!! speaking of Purifier(side topic), i think its pretty lame to just stick a flame tank at the back, at least make some effort to make a different between the Purifier and a flame commandeered avatar!!

The MARV and Black Hand were on different teams. Not an easy task getting both units together.

(While the first sentence is about the MARV, the rest is about the Redeemer...)

Decided to give my vote to the Eradicator Hexapod. The poor thing only got 13% :(

Not voting since I don't like any of them.

I can't help but think they are the result of an 8 year old's imagination, which doesn't fit the kind of seriousness I would have loved the Tiberium franchise to have had.

Nothing wrong with my MARV Jehal... well really any of the concepts of the epics IMO.
