RA2 Graphics TS Engine

Recommended Posts

If properly converted to the correct palette, the shp files should work fine. Not sure how backward compatible voxels are though.

The most obvious issue you might face is that RA2/YR graphics are designed on a larger scale and may appear oversized in TS, but this isn't really a serious problem.

I think the TS and RA2 unit palettes are the same, actually. But yeah, they'd definitely need resizing.

You'd need to convert the RA2 infantry to the TS unittem palette and downsize them since they'd be gigantic compared to those tiny infantry. Voxels will work fine as well. However, they will look dull and need work done to make them look better. The normals in TS are not as varied as RA2's so they'd need work and resizing again.

I kinda knew that RA2 and TS graphics would go together like Black Hat and Engineer, but unforchantly I started playing OpenRA a couple days ago and am interested in developing mods there.

If i could stop playing OpenRA itself...
