J-Fire_Man 0 Posted October 4, 2004 My city is a nice one. Very friendly. Sometimes it gets too hot here, but since I born and live in a tropical country, it doesn't matter. And Indonesia National Botanical Garden makes the atmosphere in my city clean and fresh, not like the dusty and hot capital city of Indonesia. I haven't gone to any other country, except to Singapore, so I'm curious to know what it looks like in other country. Share this post Link to post

Saracen 16 Posted October 4, 2004 Beautiful, that's all I can say... I love the look of New Zealand and would love to go.. The urban landscape doesn't look as tarnished as in some cities which are horrible. Here's an overview of Didcot, my town, yes that is 2 power stations next to the housing!! Here's the building where my wedding reception's taking place.. Then there's the church I'm getting married in... OK it's a modern church, but it looks great inside, and it was the only church me & my fiance can get married in. Share this post Link to post
J-Fire_Man 0 Posted October 4, 2004 Hmm.....looks like a nice place to live. But, powerplant near residential area??? Is that ok :? Share this post Link to post
Sonic 296 Posted October 4, 2004 Here is a high shot of Hamilton, not all of it though Share this post Link to post
Saracen 16 Posted October 4, 2004 Well it's not nuclear, runs off coal to generate power so I'd imagine it's OK otherwise it wouldn't be allowed... The only things that are nuclear is the army barracks close to the power station. It's a secret nuclear silo base as well... yet it's so secret everyone knows about it... As well as that we have a nuclear research facility down the road in the next villiage.... So we're not exactly safe from attack in this town with 3 primary targets  Share this post Link to post
J-Fire_Man 0 Posted October 4, 2004 Pretty high density, but well arranged. Lots of trees. Share this post Link to post
chickendippers 1 Posted October 4, 2004 Liverpool's a dump, but I don't actually live in Liverpool, I live the other side of the Mersey in a nice suburb called Oxton - it's nice and leafy. I don't know quite why Liverpool is Capital of Culture 2008, but perhaps it'll give them a chance to spruce it up a bit. I've got lots of ariel photos of my house and the area, but not on my computer - I took them using satelite picture software we have at school, it's so detailed you can zoom into see people in their back gardens! The city of garden. For dutch and british people, I bet you know much about this city. Share this post Link to post

Hans5849 0 Posted October 9, 2004 I dont live in a town so lets see. Its hot and humid in the summer, cold and dry in the Winter. Weather around Chicago, IL sucks. But the people rock. Did i mention a lot of people here drink. Share this post Link to post
J-Fire_Man 0 Posted October 9, 2004 Hmm.....Chichago isn't a bad one as far as I know. By the way, Chirstcurch is one of the NZ main cities, isn't it? And, I've seen pics about the north NZ, all i can say is that NZ is a great place. But, now winter there, means no snow. Share this post Link to post
