jeffnz 23 Posted December 24, 2016 TL;DR Red Alert 2 + Yuris Revenge Generals + Zero Hour Red Alert (the first one) Tiberian Dawn Tiberian Sun Tiberian Sun would have been better if they'd had more time to implement features, like waypoints that are actually useful. Share this post Link to post
Luk3us 63 Posted December 26, 2016 Red Alert 2 was probably the best C&C game. Probably. Share this post Link to post
jeffnz 23 Posted December 26, 2016 It depends on what engine you like the most. Looking back, I think the Tiberian Sun/RA2 game engine was the best. When CNC went proper 3d it meant that the maps were often smaller and the structures and hills took up more room - the design would never be as clever. I prefer the cell-based voxel graphic games because they could cram more stuff into the maps and hide secrets in a really neat way. Share this post Link to post
Gben 20 Posted December 30, 2016 RA2 was my favourite, which is a different measure to the 'best' I guess. Clear winner as my favourite, but so many good memories for C&C1. Share this post Link to post
Doctor Destiny 40 Posted December 30, 2016 All this article did was **** on the EA titles. I loved TW and RA3. There's nothing good about this. At least they put RA2 at the top. It's the best damn C&C game ever made. Share this post Link to post
jeffnz 23 Posted December 31, 2016 Tiberian Wars was a great game, they merged it well with the original story and somehow furthered it without too much nonsense. The TW campaign can kick the butt of the miserable Generals campaign Share this post Link to post
Doctor Destiny 40 Posted December 31, 2016 The Generals SP wasn't the selling point. It was the multiplayer, which was seriously hardcore. Share this post Link to post
