fox34343 1 Posted October 30, 2004 hey i need help, i can afford a new Graphics card, so i can upgrade from my radeon 9200, i need one thats good but cheap around £40 i can spend, any idea's on which card i should get?????? Share this post Link to post
Saracen 16 Posted October 30, 2004 a radeon 9200 is pretty good still at the moment... if ya don't want it then post it to me, I'll have it since it's an upgrade to my Geforce 2 MX400.... I doubt you'll find a good card for £40 anyway.. you'd have to at least double that to get anything of any decent quality. To buy your card at retail would be £40 anyway, so you really have the best card for your budget... Only other card you could get is a Geforce FX5200 128MB AGP8X Graphic Card with TV-Out Retail for that price, and it's not really an improvement over the one you already have. Gazdude 0 Posted October 30, 2004 Theres nothing wrong with the 9200 and if i remeber the 9200 costs about £50 anyway so good luck in finding one cheaper and more powerful.. I strongly suggest you upgrade to the GeForce 5700 LE 256 real value for money.... Share this post Link to post
Hans5849 0 Posted November 1, 2004 just save up the money to get a decent graphics card, a radeon 9800xt is probably going to cheap now. or if you really wanted to go nuts a geforce 6800gt is kick ass Share this post Link to post
