Crab is good. So is "Pork Jerkey" Turkey bacon too, while I'm at it. I just dont have a taste for the uncooked specialties. Even pinkish steak. I like every thing cooked and spiced all the way through. Yum.

I don't think there are many BBQ cookoffs here in Britain, but in the summer there sure are a hell of a lot of BBQs, usually 4pm till way past 12midnight & usually everyone has a bad hangover the day after, but they are a hell of a lot of fun. Never heard of BBQ competitions though.

The food in our sushi is cooked. Our crabmeat (already cooked in package), pork (already cooked in package), , and shrimp (boiled) and eel (baked) are properly cooked. The salmon is usually smoked and sterilized.

 

Even the sushi with raw fish, it isn't really raw, its been treated to kill the germs or else people would start complaining about stomach pains and problems.

I was under the impression that Sushi had raw fish. Maybe its where I live.

 

BBQ cookoffs dont have to be competition. They can be just for about anything. Not much into drinking. (no hangovers if you dont drink.)

Good sushi has raw fish... some can be cooked though (tempura for instance). I just happen to love the raw fish

Weird. I'm cajun and I dont like fish all that much, 'cept for fried catfish. And crab. Sometimes shrimp. But jumbolia is GOOD.

yeah, Cajun food is AMAZING. My dad was born in New Orleans, and I have a little bit of that in me (I'm mostly Scandanavian, though). As far as seafood goes, catfish, shrimp, and crab are staples of Cajun cooking... do you like crawfish?

the raw fish in good sushi has no germs. Its been flash frozen to sterilize, or something like that. So its not really raw. same taste, no germs

 

Its not safe to eat raw fish, straight from the fish market where its alive, or frozen. (Buy fish, open, bite thrashing fish, yuck :shock: )

Crawfish. I havent hade any in about forever.

 

While fish is good (sometimes) its just not filling or satisfying like a good grilled steak burger. Something about being born in midwestern U.S.A. I suppose. Aint nothin' like a BBQ on a hot summer night out at the lake. The air just sings, even without the people and the fire. And stay up late with a few people, sit around the fire, admiring the night sky, talking about whatever, or just sitting in silence....

 

Stuff like that hardly ever happens anymore Too much urbanization, too much fast food, too little spare time in our chaotic lives.

Ha ha. Why not? It is well known that drug dealers use all manner of boats for their purposes. The GLA could easily take it to the next step in any add on or mod that would have Naval units, have a passenger boat that can be loaded with infantry or something. Especially seeing as how there was the good idea of having the GLA use crop dusters loaded with anthrax as a unit.
