Problem with gaming source bar?

Recommended Posts

Just getting back on topic here.....

I e-mailed Robin at Gaming Source about the problem with the GS Network Bar, here is his reply.

I was unaware of this problem until now. I've been working with one of our long standing hosted sites to bring out a new network topbar which will allow you to change everything about it through a seperate CSS file; the colours and images included. Just not the hosted site list! The code will be 30kb less in size, which is amazing. This should spur me to get more work done in this area!

Just tell your forum members to hang tight. Thanks for letting me know.

Best Regards,

Robin Scott

Why wait, get Firefox now, trust me its much better than IE. Once you start using it you'll wonder why you didn't change sooner.

I use IE tbh, and I'd rather use it to Firefox, it suits my needs better. Avant Browser, that's a good one. :)

Everyone bashes EA, but we still play C&C and buy games.
lol, nice one :)

There is no doubt that Microsoft is very good, I mean without them we'd be using Macs, or typing commands in to black screens - but it doesn't mean someone can't develop a better browser.

Infact Firefox was featured in The Times earlier this month!

It was also featured in Computer World in December.

I hear talk of Microsoft wanting to put everything on a subscription system to "make more money" If they do something like that, we are all screwed. Or Mac would develope something good.

Well featuring in a computer magazine isn't spectacular, but in a national newspaper is.

I somehow doubt Microsoft will make stuff subscription based - they aint stupid...they've removed adverts off their search engine.

MicroSoft and EA do have 1 thing alike.....They prefer quantity over quality :P

Thats not entirely true. EA make really good sports games. But then I suppose its a bit lame when the keep releasing the same game over and over. Fifa 2001 Fifa 2002 etc.
