Sonic 295 Posted March 8, 2005 If your using Firefox and you post on a lot of forums you may find this clever Firefox extension very handy. It adds a BBCode menu when you right click on forum posting pages such as the one you use here. Here is a screen shot. It can also do HTML code (on forums that support it) by changing the settings. Requires Firefox: 0.9.x - 1.0, tested and works in the recently released Firefox 1.01. Download here. Share this post Link to post
Saracen 16 Posted March 8, 2005 Not a bad idea! But I'm in 2 minds whether it's worth downloading since all the tools I would need are already right in front of me as I type this. All I need to do is click what I need and it's done. Saves going through a menu system to find what I want. But as I said, a good idea, but it seems somewhat pointless :? Share this post Link to post
Thierry 0 Posted March 8, 2005 I just got firefox, and it pretty cool Just the small thing that I can't scroll when making a post , maybe there's an option for that I missed Share this post Link to post
chickendippers 1 Posted March 8, 2005 Have installed it, but Firefox needs restarting. I'll comment on it later when I've had a chance to try it. Share this post Link to post
Sonic 295 Posted March 8, 2005 I find it rather useful, in every application I use (PSP, Word etc...) I'm always right clicking so I find myself using it a lot. Share this post Link to post
BWare 0 Posted March 8, 2005 Man, I love those plugins... I have a ton installed, and they can be really useful. For pages that don't display well/are incompatible with FireFox, there's a program that gives a "View This Page in IE" option in the right-click menu. Share this post Link to post

BWare 0 Posted March 9, 2005 I've run into several. Some stuff is still a bit buggy, so it's nice having that tool. Share this post Link to post
Luk3us 63 Posted March 9, 2005 Bah... I've gotta to lazy. I don't bother formatting my messages any more.. Share this post Link to post
chickendippers 1 Posted March 9, 2005 I have uninstalled it, it's no quicker than using the posting tools IMO. That view with IE plugin looks usefull though esp for websites with Windows Media (that never works in Firefox). Share this post Link to post
