I used to work at a furniture warehouse/store for a few weeks. Anyway due to poor managment I and the other two guys just stood around. Going out on the odd errand but that as about it. So yeah I know boring jobs... But it isn't that bad... :wink:

I insulted the librarians cos they had blocked den forums then got kicked out by head librarian for swearing and attempting to accsess bocked sites :? den forums is also an ilegal website and the police will be called ..... I straighted the stupid bint out and insulted her 8) she said nuthin cos i had compleatly shown her up infront of her workers ..... i think thats the most interesting thing ive done today....

The official stand point is that there are too many people (aisians) on Online game sites IE Runescape and hoging the pc's, So the spastic PC enginer dude has blocked ALL sites relating to games. Which makes him THE MOST STUPID FUNTING PUNT IN THE WORLD.

Hey man I'm averageing about $300 a week. That's damn good for me.

 

What's funny, is that I get $9.70 an hour where I work, whereas in the States, I could be doing the same amount of work and only be getting $4-5 an hour.

Actually, legal min in the states is $5.75 an hour, but it may even be as high as &6.00 :shock:

On/near the US Mexico border, wages can be pretty low, cause the Mexicans dont know the legal limit. Same hting for Cubans who manage to get to the mainland on the Gulf coast.

Yeah but Acerz its all relative. You may not get paided as much in the States but their currency has more value. Products and such over there are a lot cheaper than over here...

Wealthy my ass...I can't save money at all. For the past couple of months I've been giving my mum $100 a week: $50 for board money, and the other $50 is put away somewhere where I can't find it. I'm crap with money.

 

How, then did I manage to get my computer up and running?

 

Cheap deals from a mate, my friends. You have to know people upstairs in order to get good things cheap. Overall, my computer has cost me a little over 1K, whereas it's worth around 3.5K. And that's not including the fancy desk set or the reclining chair...mm...damn I love my chair.

 

It reclines. :lol: What more could you ask for in a chair?

 

Anyway, I had a fun shift at work: First off, early into my shift, an old guy had a heart attack in the dining room. Bastard scared all the little children. So he got carted off to hospital. I got a little worried, because it makes us seem like we did something with the food. Which of course, we -didn't-. We're not that friggin' stupid.

:lol: Second, around 8:30pm, some idiot thought it was funny to drive around through our Drive-Thru lane really fast. He then PULLED A FRIGGIN' HANDBRAKE TURN AROUND THE CORNER (almost screwing it up too, bloody idiot!!) to the speaker-box, where, instead of getting an order, he lit up a joint and just sat there for a good 20 mins or so. At the time we couldn't do much, because of the fact that the Dining room was busy. We could smell the weed wafing into the store through our back door when I went out to compact the rubbish, and so I just told my manager to call the cops on him.

 

Which we did. :lol:

 

Oh man, did he get a shock. Took the pigs about ten minutes to get to the store, and during that time I had finished the rubbish and went on my half-hour break, and I witnessed the whole thing. I just sat there, smoking a ciggy, with a massive grin planted on my face, when a cop came up to me and asked me if I worked there. I was tempted to give him a sarcastic reply but I didn't, he was a cop, after all. Turns out the guy had a number of weed-related charges against him, and he got nabbed for it.

 

I do realise the irony, as a few people here know that I used to do weed myself, but thing is, at this current time getting money from a decent job and studying for my final test for the RNZAF is more important than getting high.

 

You know what though? All I got from the pigs was a thank-you. No cash reward, nothing, nada, zip.

 

Bastards. I wonder now as to whether it was worth it or not.

 

Nah. It was worth it. The look on the stoner's face when the cop rapped on his window was too damn priceless. Funniest thing -ever-
