I thought once you became a priest then moved up to Bishop and Cardinal and Pope that you didnt own a personal car, but that whatever diocese You're part of owned it.

But my question still stands: Who would by an old crappy car for $2 million? Probably Brain Tamaki (Other NZers would know who I'm talking about :wink: ) :lol:

As far as I know they can own a car if they want/aford to but there is little point if the church gives you one. As for paying $2 million? well truthful I wouldnt, but their are others that beleive it is worth the price its the same with people wanting antiuques or mabey a of ancient roman potery.

2 reasons,

 

1. It probably has alot of expensive armour on it

 

2. Its a famous vehicle, you'd be suprised how much people buy even replicas of famous vehicles for, in this car's case, $2 million for the Pope's car is amazingly low.

Dude, this isn't the pope-mobile! :lol: It's his old car! I thought I made that clear. Check back through my other posts dude. I think it's like an old Honda Civic or some crappy car like that. I'm gunna check it out and post the link to it, to clear any confusion. Unless someone can beat me to it.
