Foriegn C&C Games

I found a copy of Renegade in Russian while I was in Russia over Spring Break. I got it for about 7 Rubles (about $1.50 I believe). I got it because i just thought itd be a kewl collector's item. What im wondering is if any of you have bought foriegn C&C games, for any reason, and why?

yeah, i have 2 copies of chinese ra2 and 1 of yuri. their weird, cause 1 of them already comes with a mod that adds china to the game, and gives it units like mammy mk2, wolverines, tesla jets, giant jellyfish, etc. i was shocked to the the mammth mk2 form Ts in it....fired a purple beam like a prism tower, but did lotta damage.

 

in the yuri. u could build mummys, and other units withou editing the ini files urself.

 

and also chinese renegade, which ran without installation...the buttons were blank...so i had to guess which one was the install or play buttons,etc. but it still ran mission 1, thats when i closed it

 

Earth 2140 chinese, a whole bunch of bootleg ps(playstation) games from chinathat dont work on ps which i bought here....and a few others

Sounds to me that all the games you bought were pirates - hence them all being f*ck*d up.

the ra2, renegade and earth 2140 ran fine on my pc. just the PS games didnt work.

 

well, i bought them in china 2 years ago, when i visited shanghai over the summer

I got the English, german and French version of the old DOS C&C, and the English and German version of C&C Gold.

 

Didn't buy the French and German ones though... got the basic files (exe, strings & sounds) from friends online, and combined them with the files from my English C&C.

 

I'm still looking for any other-language versions of C&C1, be it DOS or Gold... I'm a collector you see

GenerlaZ is Chinese too. He has family in China, thats why hes there now for 6 weeks.

 

I have a German copy of RISK (CD-ROM)

cause if it is, you're not looking very hard. Try a game store. Gamestop. Babages. Slackers. EBgames. Hell, go to Wal Mart or Target if you have to. Comp USA, Ultimate electronics. Toys 'R' us. Amazon.com

 

there. dont tell me you went to all those and didnt find any. Cause those are all the places I've seen C&C games.

I actually got a Russian copy of C&C Renegade While I was in St. Petersburg

(I have no scanner for a pic and cannot fint a pic on the net) Its actually titled C&C War in Iraq but on the back has the real Renegade screenshots. I can actually get it to run on my comp and it IS renny but it is veeery sketchy (Hey what do ya expect from Russia?) I got it for 7 Rubles which is about $1.50 USD. Mainly just got it for a Collector's Item. (If You didnt Read above already)

I'm italian, so i have the italian version of generals, and i'm going to buy the italian versions of TD and Ra1 on ebay. Ra2 and TS have only an italian manual, the game is in english

I wanna get a Russian, Arabic, and Eastern (chinese, japanses, korean) version of at least 1 of the C&C games
