If you are refering to the Scud storm, any commander worth his Lunch doesnt cluster powerplants, for precisely that reason.

I was implying to the fact that under certain circumstances and with a certain intent the scud storm superweapon device may have superiority over the particle uplink cannon due to it's superior blast radius and it's idependence, or-self-sufficiency, which results for it's lack of need for power. Additionally, the residual effects of the anthrax can be devastating as well. However, if you are the demolitions general, then the power of the high-explosive scuds magnifies my previous statement of a bigger blast radius with an additionally strong blast radius.

I think all three have their merits, although the Scud Storm is my fav.

 

Particle cannon is fast than nuke, and very precise.

 

Nuke is ubber slow, does mass damage on a large scale, and has all kinds of upgrades available for tanks.

 

Scud Storm-widest blast radius, not as string as nuke (unless your are demo gen) but Anthrax more than makes up for this, especially against US opponents, who have free rangers come out of every destroyed building.

Merits versus each side are simple. If you look at the Super Weapons, they are actually best used against the side that builds them...

 

I've never seen anything more devestating to the GLA than a Scud Storm. Multiple blasts means death even for GLA holes. the USA have trouble recovering if you use a particle cannon on their slow moving tank columns, and the Chinese buildings can't survive their own Nuclear Missile attacks. Try ti and you'll see what I mean.
