Since a bunch of you guys are fans what do you think bout all these rumors?

Now that I wouldn't be interested in nor do I think it's even true. There's been other rumors about a TV series that would bridge the gap between 3 and 4. But for that there's rumors of the LEGO's or an Anime series instead much like the clone wars saga. There's really not much to tell in episodes 7, 8, and 9. It's all peaceful and rebuilding the jedi and world building from the empire/rebel battles. Rumors are fun non-the-less.

Lucus should work on another Indy movie script and make it instead.

Lucas also has a trio of films written after the end of 'Return of the Jedi' - but he doesn't htink he'll live long enough to actually make them.

 

If you want alternate star wars, try looking at one of the horrendous number of games being made (I recommend Knights of the Old Republic and the Jedi Academy games).

And there are the books that have the events that range from the day after to..I think 20 years after the Battle of Endor.

 

And regardless of whether or not there will be any more films - I say, bah. I don't care Would be nice though.

I'll not argue with anyone about the pure genius behind some of the books released after the films. they are fabulous and deserve recoggnition but creating a new film may be a bit too much...

the Episode 7 rumor is total bull****......Lucas has already said hes Recreateing the movies in a 3D kinda of way...but i would like to see a game or movie of the Sith Wars...like from the Exar Kun days when the Sith were a species and not a idea...basicly from b4 the KoToR games

BTW after 4,5, and 6 its is anything but peaceful.

 

Isard, Thrawn, Krennel, Daala, Sun Crusher, Centerpoint, Second Imperium, Shadow Academy, The Black Fleet Crisis, The Ssi-Ruuk, the Yveetha, The New Rebelion...and the worst threat ever, the Yuuzahn Vong. Who actually defeated the New Republic and about trashed the Jedi to nothing and made the Imperial Remnant a joke. Until Paelleon got his fleet back together. At the end of the war, the Imperial Remnant is twice the size it was before the war, the Chiss Empire holds all the unknown regions, the Vong have a new homeworld, and the Galactic Alliance holds the rest of the Galaxy.

UR MY GOD MAN..ive read all the books up to The Black Fleet Crisis....And the thing that REALLY pissed me off about the Yuuzahn Vong..is the Jedi Anakin dieing..i was SOOOO pissed...and the twins getting seperated..im thinkin about pickin up the rest of the books and reading them

hmmm...no i havent...i think im going to have to look into picking it up..i need to start reading again...im currently reading book 3 in the RE series..and i think after im done with RE im going to start getting the SW books...

yea id have to admitt there have been alot of starwars games...and alot of them has sucked...only a handful (Jedi Outcast/Academy, Galaxies, KoToR 1&2) have been really worth picking up.

 

and The Truce at Bakkura was a very interesting book...might have screwed up ep7 but it was a great book

It was a good book. Even better when the Yuuzahn Vong attacked the Ssi-Ruuk and the Yveetha.

 

The SW universe has enough material to go on to be an alternate reality in my opinion.
