Well, I dont go to a public High school, but GeneralZ does. But as for me, I think there is nothing wrong with it. If you dont waant hte military looking at your records, then say no. Its very simple. But this way, the military can see how American students are doing, and contact the brightest of them for applications for higher-end jobs with the military.

 

There really isnt a large group of young Americans that will go around protesting war (like in the pic) or like in the 70's.

That is pathetic. Incredibly pathetic. There are benefits to joining the armed forces and there are downsides to it like anything else. It would be a supreme deal for me to join the Army... Discipline and education. 2 things this country really needs.
