Jackson not guilty on all counts

Recommended Posts

Here the scoop :P

Michael Jackson was found not guilty Monday on all counts in his trial on child molestation charges, ending a two-year legal saga for one of the world's most well-known pop stars.

The courtroom sat silently as Judge Rodney Melville opened the jury envelopes one by one and silently read the verdict forms to himself before allowing the court clerk to read the verdict out loud. Lead defense attorney Tom Mesereau Jr. patted Jackson on the shoulder after the verdict was read. Two jurors dabbed their eyes with tissues.

Jackson showed no visible reaction in court. He then slowly, silently walked out of court surrounded by family and his bodyguards, stone-faced and looking slightly stunned. The singer briefly waved to fans.

What u guys think of this?

Justice was done if you ask me.

People have been after Jackson for years because he was successful with his music and talent. Sure he lives a strange life style but the family accusing him lied in an effort to get money out of him.

Either way Jackson's career is basically over know.

Sonic... you aren't seriously a Michael Jackson sympathizer, are you?? There isn't some massive conspiracy against him! The man is SERIOUSLY sick, and from what I've heard and studied, he is undoubtedly guilty to at least some extent.

And no, justice was not done... no other 40+ year old man in America would have been able to sleep with 8-12 year old boys and get away with it! The whole thing is completely ridiculous.

Just beacuse the guy is sick and has a hell of alot of issues doesn't mean he's guilty...

Besides he donates lots of money to charities. He isn't all that bad.. Even if I think he's a fruitcake... ;)

If it wasn't for Micheal's father beating him, his siblings and his mother, when things went wrong, none of this stuff would of happened!

Jackson never got a chance to be a kid, he was thrust into the jackson 5 at such an early age and pressured and physically beaten into becoming the best, and being the frontman in the Jackson 5 made this even worse.

The guy is so mentally scarred, so traumatised by his past that it's not wonder he acts like this. He needs alot of psychiatric help and a lot of support to make sure that he can recover from this experience and prevent anything like this happening in the future.

He thinks he is still a kid, because he's trying to live out what he never had the chance to experience. Unless you understand the finer points of psychology, you may not understand why Micheal Jackson is where he is today.

The guy has a good heart and a good soul.. he just doesn't understand that what he did would get him in so much trouble... especially in this climate of today's fabric of society.

Not really, I think the guy is really screwed up. I will admit I was once a fan many years ago though.

Kinda the same here I think.

I was a fan, but then the whole change over the years...

He was good, now he's just screwed up, even if he doesn't realize it himself

Law and Justice isn't as simple as hard evidence, each conviction brings up so many different areas of discussion, debate, and deliberation. It is not as simple as reading out the evidence of both sides, then sending off the jury to decide. That's what you see on TV in dramas. In court, it's a hell of a lot more complex than that.

Doesn't matter, they can check up on it, and it's usually compulsory regardless of your status.

A friend who was takign A-levels had to put his on hold for 2 weeks while he did duty, there's no escaping it, it has to be done.

Not according to them... If there is a danger that you could lose the assignment because of a prolonged absence due to Jury service they can arrange for you not to do the service... :P
