The Worst Game Of All Time?

We always seem to talk about the best games, our favourites, our own personal classics, even if they got terrible reviews, and we post numerous threads on the CNCNZ forums about them... Time to change the record..

 

What is the worst game you have ever played? What made you pay full price for it, only to take it back in disgust, throw it in the bin, or use the disc as a handy frizbee or drinks mat?

My worst game of all time would have to be The Sum of All Fears, a first person tactical shooter, that had nothing to do with the movie of the same name or even the Tom Clancy book.

 

The game box even has Ben Affleck and Morgan Freeman (who star in the movie) on it :roll:

 

The game is a snore fest from the start, a bunch boring random missions that have no real meaning, infiltrate a TV station building, kill the bad guys, next mission same objective just a different location.

 

 

The game had the usual variety of weapons, the problem was the pistol, the sniper rifle and shotgun all sound the same.

 

A horrible game, only released to cash in on the movie, I regret buying this game even today.

They released it too early, so it had a bundle of problems and I had to search all over the internet to find all 17 patches to fix it.

 

It still didn't run on my comp completely though.

Soldner Secret wars.First was the insane amount of time it took to load the game( that reduced me to tears) then the Terrible single player All you ever did was go here kill them get box go home. The large maps made them even more painfully long. Then multiplayer sucked balls i always lagged out if the lag didnt freeze my comp first...

Battlefield 1942 and the Road to Rome Expansion.

 

One of my brother's friends stole my copy of BF, which he -still- denies to this day even though he friggin' TOLD my brother!

 

So Road to Rome is just sitting there, useless as anything.

 

Makes a good coaster for my (many) cups of coffee...

1942 is pritty good cant beat 'el Alemein' dog fighting in a stolen spitfire landing it in the desert, repairing it then taking back to the sky.

Heh...I have Splinter Cell: Pandora Tomorrow. Kinda pointless, as I don't have a DVD drive yet. But it came with my graphics card along with Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time. So s'all good.

 

I'd say that Counter Strike is the worse game of all time.

 

How many years has it been out? And how many idiots still play it when there is better games out there?
