cliff15 0 Posted September 4, 2005 Hey, was just wondering what mission you guys thought was the hardest ever, out off all the c&c games. This may already have been done but I can't be arsed looking through the whole forum... Personally I thought it was a GDI mission from TD, the one where you had to rescue agent Delphi. All you got was an MCV and 5 Grenadiers, and you had to fight your way past turrets and as soon as you deployed your MCV, a flame tank arrived and cooked all your Grenadiers. However, I used to think the final mission of Allies (RA1) was the most difficult. After replaying it recently, I found that it was nowhere near as hard as it used to be. Having said that, its still a difficult mission. Much harder than anything from the newer games. Share this post Link to post

chickendippers 1 Posted September 6, 2005 The hardest mission must be in Covert Operations as it is nutoriously the hardest C&C game ever; although I couldn't say which mission. No Westwood Studios number will work anymore; you might try ringing the EA Tips Line, but I don't know if that helps you with these old games. Cygnus X-1 12 Posted September 17, 2005 yur folks are paying too much for yur games. TS+FS=$3 USD @ EBgames. RA1 and TD are practically free there.... and hardest mission is rescue Delphi from GDI TD. Still havent beat it. Course I aint played it in like 5 minths. Share this post Link to post

When I played it for the first time I kept getting my ass whooped...mainly because I didn't know how to play the game very well back then. I still haven't managed to finish it without losing any unity Getting better at it though Anyway... the Covert Ops ITSELF is only 200kb, since it's just 2 mixfiles with missions in it. The CD is just there for the movies... in which there are only 2 or 3 new ones anyway. And the music of course... which is TOTALLY worth it. Share this post Link to post

Hmm, I think the last Soviet mission is the hardest in RA2 now. You simply do -not- have the ability to destroy those teleported IFVs and Grizzly Tanks with base defences, you have to use Tesla Troopers and Flak Troopers for the incoming Rocketeers. Oh, and then the Hover Transport is teleported with a SEAL team and wipes 'em all out. Waste of resources. Share this post Link to post

I thought that was a pretty easy mission. hint: get a navy early on (small one) and get a beachhead goin on the other side. theres not enough ore on he Soviet side. I captured an allied MCV and then used both tech to wipe the allies out. Share this post Link to post

Too much Zero Hour. :lol: It's all well and good getting an early Navy but what about the teleported IFV's and the Grizzley Tanks? That's what the Tesla Troopers are for.. And it's kinda hard to build up a beach front on the side from where the Navy SEALs come from, considering you have to -deal- with those damn IFV's and the Tanks first of all.
