Now correct me if I'm wrong. But doesn't Utah have the highest amount of guns per captia for a state in the US?

That always seems funny to me.. Considering the people's who live there... :P

Not sure about that one. They might have the highest legal amount of guns per capita. But I think New York is where era-body's carryin a 9.

I wanna get a licence to carry concealed pistol.

Theres a story here about knives and guns:

A bunch of hoodlums, like around 6, were going around in the subway system with knives and picking on "nerdy, defenceless-looking individuals", surrounding the poor guy, and demanding money and valuables at knifepoint.

They did that 1 or 2 people, then tried it on a nerdy looking guy with a laptop sitting in the corner. They carried om their usual routine and surrounr him

"hey, give us your money and the laptop"

the guy just looks a them and says "leave me alone"

the hoodlums say somethin like "you funny man, hand it over"

the man says "leave me alone" again

the hoodlums get ready to attack him, when the guy pulls out a pistol and shoots them all one by one. all of the hoodlums go to the hospital and most of them die....when the survivors went the court to sue that guy, the guy with the gun was declared innocent under "self-defence"

The Lesson Here: Carry a Concealed GUN :shot: :)

did you know that the best form of defence against a knife attack is to alow yourself to be stabed then hold onto the knife? it stops all the blood gushing out and most of the time the attacker will be to shocked at you just standing there holding there knife (works best if you smile and laff like a nutta) and will run away..... someone whos unarmed is more likely to kick the ship outa you.

-edit- again i gota say im starin at my sig and lovin it so dammn hard :) best 1 i have eva done to date i think :D

most of the damage from a knife attack is pulling it out. You know if you stuck a bread knife (flat blade) you would find itt hard to pull out due to the fact that inside there is a low pressure and in pulling the blade out you would tear the skin (this easyer to 'show' in person[not that i would stab myself to prove it]) thats why army knifes have those nicks down the blade to alow air in so its easyer to pull out. The blade also acts as a plaster not alowing germs in or blood out.

Haha, would you rather sound lame and be included in discussions, or would you rather be "cool" and get your immature ass kicked off a Command and Conquer fansite?

Tough choice, in'nate?

Seriously though, he's right about the whole 'being stabbed' thing.

lol.. That is a brillant defense.. Don't try and avoid the attacker.. Just stand there and let em' stab your ass... :P

I understand what you mean but you could have tried to express it a little better don't ya think? :P

best defense against an attack is to not be there when it happens

thats where speed an agility come in handy

and a little bit of Kung-Fu, Hop-Ki-do, Tae Kwon Do, and the works comes in handy

hell, thats all I had when I was attacked a few years back

um..ok.

this kid walked up to me in the park. a big festival had just ended, so not many people were aorund, it was kinda darkish, but he pulled a knife on me and told me to give him all my money and stuff. I just kinda looked at him adn said "what, are kidding ?" so he lunged. I turned with it, smacked him on the bacl of the head, when he turned around, i was in a good fighting stance, and I kicked his knife away, then i kicked him in the face a few times, then did a series of double kicks, which if done right, look incredibly cool nad hurt liek hell (if your being kicked) then a few to the knees and arms, a cople in his back, that taught him a lesson. He looked like he was maybe 10 years old at the time.
