As you all know, CNCNZ.com and Empire-At-War.com are part of Freedom Studios, some of you may not be aware that we are actually part of a bigger network of sites that include the likes of Revora, Project Perfect Mod and many more. Now it takes a lot of time, money and resources to keep all of our sites up and running so we are asking anyone who can spare a few dollars to donate to the Revora Fund Drive for some important upgrades.

 

If you've noticed over the last few days, we've been on and offline for several hours at a time. This is due to massive amounts of traffic and connections on our current home, the Icetex server. Click here to see what we need and click here donate for the cause.

Heatsinks are really cheap. $30-50, for the expensive ones. Hard drives are relatively cheap. $100-250. I dont do AMD processors, so I have no idea what one of those would cost.

Its cool if you can't donate, we are just spreading the word to see if anyone can. We are on our way to the $500 target. Fenring has already chipped in $225 for the new processor/heatsink.

And come to think of it, chip in another £50 to my bank account since that's how much it's gonna cost me to send Godwin Koay's prize for winning the wallpaper contest... another £50 should cover the postage of Aircraftkiller's and Minh's prizes to the USA and canada...

For those that don't know, Mastermind is the owner of the Icetex server that CNCNZ.com and many other sites call home. So if you do donate this is who the money is going to.

Icetex will turn 1 in about 2 months. We started on an Athlon XP 2400+ with 1 gig of DDR 333 and a pair of 80 gigabyte SATA hard drives. The box has gotten a bit busier, and so now we need the upgrades to keep it going. If you have any doubt about my authenticity, feel free to ask around the community, as I've been a member for about 2 years now, most of which I've been an administrator, either at Origin, or now at Revora.
