Probably Style XP, I used it, but I sticked to Windows Classic afterwards

Some of the themes you can get come in the form of an exe. So they do all the work for you with out the need of something like styleXP.

 

Though that is only some. For others you need some sort of program I believe... Not entirely sure on that front since I've always just used Style XP.

Which annoys me to great end because I've picked up a few great wallpapers off of that site, only to get that crappy .exe version which doesn't give me anything at all because I get the following error messages:

 

Windows cannot access the specified device, path or file. You may not have the appropriate permissions to access the item

 

Could not execute the external program (random program, can't be bothered typing it out).

Or you could just download Style XP for it. Its only like 15mb.

Way ahead of ya mate..t'was the first thing I did. I still got those error messages. The sites says something to do with "wrapping" the files with ads to keep the site up or some bollocks like that. :roll:

I don't really like using theme maker softwares, mostly because I found them caused some minor problems when you are running full screen application and it took up some more windows memory. I still like the WinXP blue theme desktop.
