Saracen 16 Posted November 26, 2005 What it says above really, what talents do you have that are perhaps downright cool or somewhat special?? I don't wanna see "kick ass (enter game name here) player", that won't do! And keep it honest and sensible guys.. Share this post Link to post
BWare 0 Posted November 26, 2005 Good thread idea King  A good one of mine is that I can walk on my toes. I curl them over, and can walk, run, and jump on them. It's crazy. My toes are massive (really ugly things), and they can comfortably handle the weight of my 190+ pound frame. That, and I'll bet I'm the best surfer here  I've been surfing since I could walk- my dad was a surf nut in San Diego back in the 70s, and he taught me his ways  Share this post Link to post
Luk3us 63 Posted November 27, 2005 I can play the flute and the clarinet. And out fish all you suckers! Fresh water or saltwater it matters not! Share this post Link to post
TheBlackOut 7 Posted November 27, 2005 I am a good trumpet player and I can also play the french horn. Oh! And I am awesome at being real lazy. 8) Share this post Link to post
Tree 0 Posted November 27, 2005 In 6th grade I played the baritone. That's about it for the musical department. I'm pretty good at computer stuff. Currently making ~$500/month off of freelance PHP/MySQL programming. Share this post Link to post
Dr. Rodney McKay 0 Posted November 27, 2005 I'm alright at computer stuff. Tree, where'd you learn MySQL and PHP? Would it be a good idea to learn at the age of 15? Share this post Link to post
Guest Rabbit Posted November 27, 2005 It's very good to be good at computers at 15. I'm 15 and I'm good at computer language. It impresses the dumbarse adults who know nothing, like my idiot parents and teachers. Share this post Link to post
BWare 0 Posted November 27, 2005 It impresses the dumbarse adults who know nothing, like my idiot parents and teachers. I'm... I'm so pissed off at the world! Nyah! Gotta love that teenage angst  Share this post Link to post

It impresses the dumbarse adults who know nothing, like my idiot parents and teachers. I know barely any about serious computer stuff and I still impress adults that are clueless about computers. Those suckers. DON'T TELL MY MOM I SAID THAT! Share this post Link to post
Tree 0 Posted November 27, 2005 I'm alright at computer stuff. Tree, where'd you learn MySQL and PHP? Would it be a good idea to learn at the age of 15? Learn HTML and CSS first. Then I got PHP and MySQL for Dummies, 2nd edition. Then gradually take on small projects. Don't get in over your head, or the guy you'r eworking for gets really pissed. Yeah, learn it at 13, 14, 15, 97, whatever. If you think you can learn quickly, go right ahead. Share this post Link to post
Guest Rabbit Posted November 27, 2005 I actually just figured out how to hack my school computer using only command prompt. Share this post Link to post
Dr. Rodney McKay 0 Posted November 27, 2005 Okay, I do know some HTML(enough to run a website), where would I go to learn CSS? I'm trying to learn by taking a look at my Board's CSS right now. EDIT: CSS stands for Cascading Style Sheet, right? Share this post Link to post
BWare 0 Posted November 27, 2005 No, it stands for "Counter-Strike Source." As far as improving, well... practice makes perfect. Stick with it and eventually you'll get the hang of it  Share this post Link to post
Dr. Rodney McKay 0 Posted November 27, 2005 TFC > Counter-Strike. But still, CS rules. I have it on my X-Box. Share this post Link to post
Mr_Lee_ 0 Posted November 27, 2005 No, it stands for "Counter-Strike Source." As far as improving, well... practice makes perfect. Stick with it and eventually you'll get the hang of it   Nice one. I like to think I have considerable ability in my writing and in my ability to learn things in a really speedy manner. I also like to think my refined cantankerous sarcasm is something of a strength of mine. Share this post Link to post
Dr. Rodney McKay 0 Posted November 27, 2005 I forgot something. I'm really good at faking things and getting inside your head. Share this post Link to post
Mr_Lee_ 0 Posted November 27, 2005 Baron: Getting inside someones head is a matter of opinion and perspective. You're more bound to create an illusion of psychological control than anything else. Share this post Link to post
Luk3us 63 Posted November 27, 2005 So you're good at pissing people off then? Not the best trait to have.... Share this post Link to post
Acerz492 1 Posted November 28, 2005 Eh, I'm a semi-alright drummer. Without a drumset. Go figure. >_< Share this post Link to post
Dr. Rodney McKay 0 Posted November 28, 2005 So you're good at pissing people off then? Not the best trait to have.... Only when I try. Share this post Link to post
TheBlackOut 7 Posted November 28, 2005 I forgot one! I am like a senior, I can talk about some of the most boring stuff ever for so long that people give in to me. The really good thing is: 1. I get stuff from people because they give up trying to ignore me. 2. I even bore seniors so I don't have to talk to them. 3. Unlike a senior, I am aware that I am annoying and I can stop at a whim. 4. I can use big words to confuse/bore/frustrate the enemy. I think I am going to be a politican since I can filibuster for so long. Share this post Link to post
