How do u stop super weapons as China, I have trouble finding them, and then once you find them, how the hell are you supposed to take them out? Will a level 3 arty and 4 migs take one out? Does mining SW before artying it do more damage?

 

Still, how the hell do I find it in the first place. Black Lotus doesn't always do the job. The SW problem is especially troublesome vs the US, where their spy drones prevent my Black Lotus. They also have a slimmer superweapon that makes arty less effective. Also their superweapon charges up in 4 minutes flat. I have tried using an EMP to knock out some defences and charge in 7 troop crawlers to capture their SW, but this only works sometimes. 4 minutes is not alot of time to prepare. Also 7 troop crawlers are massively expensive. Still better than getting a whole army lasered away but still...

That is not always an option. What I mean is for example, for America, you can see the whole map, find the SW, then A 10 and fuel air bomb it at the same time. You might lose an A 10, but the SW is definately dead, and it took little effort to do it or you can partical beam it then A-10 it. For GLA, you can anthrax a part of their base and rebel drop the SW to cap it. With china.... you can't even see the SW sometimes.

Stealth gens the only exeption i can think of, once cloked there off the radar.

its just vannila generals anyway so they should all be visable

Vanilla SW are not shown. Anyway, I finally got Zero Hour. So the superweapon thing is no longer a problem, as they just show you it when it is built... The Black Lotus comment, it's often impossible to get the black lotus to the SW. Think of against US... Spy Drones, Raptors to kill you the sec you start capping, scout drones... it is not happening.

what you do is amssive expansionism early on. By the time they have SWs you should have hackers everywhere funding a massive war effort, and 2 nukes is always a good idea.

 

If you see a weakspot in their deffenese, fly a couple of Helixs in with prop towers loaded with tanks and/or with bunkers loaded with TH and just blast away

 

expensive, but you should already have forces build in preparation to repel attacks or mount your own attacks

Damn, you guys are good! I'm kinda new to C&CG. I can't even beat 1 Hard Enemy AI on Skirmish, let along 7 Brutal ones lol. Any good tips for me as I'm (I guess) considered a noob still?

well if ur just messing with AI i sugest doing the story mode on hard for starters then using USA for the arouras bunker up and make money kill a few AI like that and as you get better use tanks and hummers. Keep reducing the number of Aroras by 1 airfield per game or somink then stop using them.

@ self proclaimed newbie (thers a diff, n00b = bad, newbie = inexpirienced)

 

start off by playign against 1 easy AI. Time your self. If you cant get $10000 back within 10 min, then practice. Do this and take out your oponent. Keep doing htis while slowly decreasing your time limit. Once you have it down to 5, move up to one hard enemy and start over at 10. Once you can beat one hard enemy in 5, then advance to 2 hard enemies, 1st FFA, then ally htem agaisnt you. So and so forth, in a few short months you'll be online and wreaking havoc (assuming you dont quit and follow usefull suggestions)

 

hope that helps. Personalyl I started off against 7 easy AI all allied against me, i figured I had enough EXP from other C&C (this is after I beat Generals Campaigns Of course)

beat the missions on easy. then beat them on medium

 

then jumped into online play. learnt some stuff the hard way, delete and recreate PanzerGeneral to reset stats....later switched to tsbo's tiny clan [gdi]

 

i dont play skirmish that often. last time i played 1 brutal, i killed him off in 3 minutes.

 

me vs 7 enemy allied brutals i can win but will take a bit of time

I was watching a film and all my planes got Pwned when i was doing a last ditch defend on Zees base against about 30 quads

tsk tsk, no need to waste planes until the quads are already wiping out Z's base, that way they are already firing on ground targets and you still save some planes for continuing harrassment before they get to your base

Oh, and the attack upgrade thingy is called the 'Bunker Buster' bomb upgrade. :wink:

 

nope i was in a dumb mode. id said fully upped which would mean bunker buster and lazer guided. I ment bombardment plan from the strat center

I usually use Search and Destroy, longer weapons range and visual range, plus sensors
