Saracen 16 Posted January 18, 2006 If my job could get me anywhere, I'll send you guys a postcard. Why do I say that? Well Monday at 7am, I started work as normal, I did some overtime at the end and didn't leave until 9pm. That's a 14 hour shift! I'm partial to the occasional 12 hour shift, but when you work for an extended amount of that time, work your ass off, and get very little gain out of it, you begin to question the objectives of you set out to do and actually achieved. Tuesday I did a standard 7 - 4 shift. The evening after work, I have dinner, and I'm out for the count, and I mean like BOOM! I was asleep gone 8pm that night. It is now Wednesday, just gone 02:30am and I'm awake fresh as a daisy. The point being here that Wednesday is my day off today and I'm not particularly happy that I'm awake 2 hours into it. I normally sleep for 6-7 hours a night, and that shift on Monday has confused my body clock! I need a beer! Share this post Link to post

BWare 0 Posted January 18, 2006 Hmm.... postcards..... interesting idea here. How about a postcard exchange program? We all live in such different places, that could really be pretty awesome. What do you think? Share this post Link to post
Saracen 16 Posted January 18, 2006 I'm sure you're be fine King. That or you're have a pshycotic breakdown or something. Nah, it's not quite a psychotic breakdown, it partially has something to do with Seasonal Affective Disorder, that's what sucks. I probably wouldn't be awake now if it wasn't for my condition  Share this post Link to post
Acerz492 1 Posted January 19, 2006 Don't worry King, I know what it's like. I'll shout you a beer if I'm in your area one day. Share this post Link to post
Tree 0 Posted January 19, 2006 Doesn't your grocery store sell beer? I don't think I need to explain any more... Share this post Link to post
