My "I have a dream speach"

Well I had to make an "I have a dream" speech in honor of Martin Luther King Junior and I have to give it tomorrow. I want to know what you guys think. (My parents and friends all say its great, but they always do. )

 

"They are short speeches because everyone has to give one so here's mine:

 

I have a dream that one day this nation will be tolerant of everyone and only judge people by their actions. Not by the color of their skin nor their religion.

 

I have a dream that one day hate will turn into brotherhood and kindness.

 

I have a dream that one day no race will be the poor or oppressed one.

 

I have a dream that people will never call their brothers a name because they are different.

 

I have a dream today.

 

I have a dream that one there will be peace and prosperity for all in this wonder nation and world.

 

I have a dream today.

 

I have a dream that one day Americans will call each other Americans and not classify people by race, but as Americans.

 

This is my hope and faith.

 

With this faith we will build a better nation, world, and tomorrow for our children.

 

This will be the day when all people, or all races will learn that we are all equal on this devine planet of ours."

 

I know this is somewhat old, but they gave us two weeks and I think this will be my final draft... Well?

Sorry all im sliping back into old habits...... I was playing BF2 on an american server where we kept thrashing the USA even on USA maps like Matusha City (the 1 where the Mosques in the middle n the US blackhawk PWNS everyone, I took it out twice with aload of AT friends ) so i was generaly....... egging the Yanks on to do better....

 

And the rich Americans are the problem wtf you think you have so many poor? cos the CEOs are paying everyone else Peanuts compaired to what there geting. In the UK CEOs get 30-40% more than the average worker, In the US its nearly 111%...... make up your own minds.

Are you seriously that ignorant? America is the most wealthy nation- in GENERAL- in history. Are you really stupid enough to think that we have a problem with poverty?? We have a freaking unemployment rate of under five percent! Envious people like you who are often too lazy to work for success (it's much easier to criticize the successful) are so quick to bitch about those who are better off than you, it's just disgusting. Bottom line: they worked for it, they earned it, you aren't entitled to it. Period.

 

CEOs are not the enemy :roll:

They are cogs in a machine that ultimately puts food on your table. Markets are circular dude- the more money is made, the bigger the pie gets. Stop looking enviously at the size of the CEO's piece when your's is growing as well. You really have a very limited and incorrect view of how a capitalist economy works. Everyone wins- the CEOs buy things (extravagant as they may be- it doesn't matter to you personally), and that money trickles down to people lower on the food chain, enriching them. They buy an yacht (something you would see as an appalling extravagance, no doubt), and in doing so they provide jobs for hundreds of people... people in construction, sales, cleaning crews, etc. Their money ultimately feeds hundreds of families. It's all circular. Just give it 2 seconds of thought.

Your facts are false, and your logic is flawed. Even if that was true, you have to consider that we've been around for only 200 freakin years. The vast majority of America is undeveloped, and there are many, many "pioneer" types who do not live well. Folks in Europe have been sitting on the same dirt for thousands of years. You guys clearly have an advantage with that cute little statistic of yours. America has a VERY strong middle class... don't try to skew it and make it appear that we don't :roll:
