No. A normal ifv is stronger against air units and a ggi ifv is stronger against tanks. I like using Yuri, capturing soviet and allied forces, and making tesla ifvs. they are kinda like tesla tanks, but faster and with a longer range when promoted.

best combo is a Crazy Ivan in an IFV. (best when you partner is allied and you are soviet or vise versa)

 

drive them up to a group of tanks/prisms/choppers and they eat them up. drive in 2 or more at a time for the most damage.

Hmm... i personally think for an assault it's best Chrono Ivan in the IFV but ya have to get that spy in

but other that that i think Guardian GI are good enough

In my opinion, it's a tie between Chrono Legionnaire, Desolator, Sniper and Seal/Tanya

Theres about 15 or 14 weapons that can be coded into the IFV

 

I do like the cowshot (prism laser) but you gotta code it in to work it

 

You can also change around weapons depending if you added newer troops
