Fenring, the only reason that silly phrasing has popped up lately (and why it wasn't used years ago with Perfect Dark, for example) is just because video games have become such a huge business. In this now high-dollar industry, when a game like Halo takes the lead so decisively, you can bet that some slick marketing will try to outdo it... hence all these damn self-proclaimed "Halo-killers" that we've been seeing lately.

no became this whole 'killa' thing cos Halo has so many 12yo N00bs playing it and they think calling somink a Halo Killa is cool cos halo was the first 'decent' FPS they played when there dumb family got them an X-Box. NONE of them will have played games like Red Faction, Serious Sam, Doom, Duke Nukem, Unreal or AVP which all seriously pwn halo in gameplay, guns and story.

There have been games labelled that, Earth 2150 was called one of em'. Act of war was one of em' too.

ok CnC on any engine or MODed into any game is a killer....imagine CNC crossed with WOW...as a tiberium mutant or something...the storyline is so flexible because of its main subject..tiberium..which is so flexible..like how TD turned into TS:FS..
