How you got your nickname

Just thought it would be interesting to learn how everyone got their forum nicknames, it's self-explanatory:

 

For me, I like F15s, want to be a pilot, and the XP comes from Windows XP (F15pilotX for Xbox, etc.)

I have too many screen names.

 

But the ones I use most are Fenring, Aurelius V, Vash and Civility.

 

Fenring comes from the Dune novel series. He's the best friend of the Emperor and expert assassin. His first name, Hasimir, sounded a bit too Arabic so I chose the surname instead.

 

Aurelius V also comes from the Dune novel series. The "V" on the end is the first letter of his surname, which is Venport. He's responsible for introducing the spice melange into the League Worlds and he's an amazing businessman. The name sounded cool so I adopted it into my repertoire of names.

 

Vash is the main character from the anime, Trigun. He's a goofball but he's a hell of a marksman.

 

Civility is just a random noun meaning courteous behavior and such. I often take adjectives and intangible nouns as names, which is evident with a couple of my other names, Silence and Stealth.

mine slowly evolved to what it is today.

 

It started when i used to play Empire Earth. This guy that i had played with a few times said all my main stratergies resemled a bear mauling someone.

 

Also way back in primary school a teacher called me a Polar Bear as i never feel the cold. Just to be a smart ass on a ski trip last year when we walked into town at night to get "supplies" i went in shorts and T-shirt while they were wearing multiple layers of clothing and were still cold.

 

The Alpha part was added on MW4 as the name i had didnt fit when my clan tag was on. It came from another alias i used on certain occasions which was delta

Mine is just some random thing i thought of when i first played CnCGenerals online.

 

As i got the name the week after CNC generals came out it beats the gay 'Mad badger' cartoon by about a year
