You should see some of the staff at the place I work. They do everything in their power to make you believe that they've done their work. But on Thursday I put this one guy on the spot. He was being lazy, placing products on a trolley to replenish from instead of taking out an entire roll pallet. This is how it played out...

 

*King* - Hmm, this is bone idle laziness

 

*Dimwit Employee** uhhh!?

 

*King* How come you're placing things on this trolley? I picked the required items this morning to fill the out of Stocks.

 

*DWE* There's more out of stocks, I'm picking them to fill the gaps.

 

*King* So how do you know which one's to pick? I do mine from a printed list on paperwork which also contains the morning stock counts. Do you have a list to work from?

 

*DWE* Yes I have a list, I'm picking from it now. Most of the stuff won't go out anyway.

 

*King* Oh good, so how do you know that it won't? Where's the list? Can I take a look?

 

*DWE* I don't have it on me at the moment.

 

*King* I thought you said you had a list? Why are you lying to me.

 

*DWE* It doesn't matter, I can remember the out of stocks anyway.

 

*King* So, if I was to go out onto the shop floor now, everything you have on that trolley will go out will it?

 

*DWE* (Looks like he's beginning to look worried, you can see him gulp his own saliva)

 

*King* Well you better put out what you have there then. You must have a good memory, cos I have, and I can't remember all the out of stocks by the time I get to the warehouse. Once you've done that come see me before you pull out a full roll pallet please.

 

*DWE* OK Dave.

 

When he came back he tried to get outta it, but I just told him he needs to pull his weight. He tried the same thing Friday saying things wouldn't go out. He was gonna put away a whole roll pallet. After telling him to f*** off and do something else in delegation management speak, I tried the roll pallet for myself and put out everything but a quarter of the pallet.... This guy really ticks me off!!!

That site is an interesting idea for a wiki though, Id expect independent checks to be more reliable than the popular concensus when it comes to internet lore.
