TheRoadToDawn 0 Posted November 24, 2006 Fine. You know what i think of "Return of the Old", I think TW is going to be a mimic of TD, just with mechs and new flying units! Share this post Link to post
Guest Maul Posted December 8, 2006 was mobius the bloke hu went on telly about tiberium? Share this post Link to post
Cygnus X-1 12 Posted December 8, 2006 Yes, that 'bloke' who provided about 99% of ALL of the info on Tiberium durring the first war (to GDI and the civies, it seems anyway) Share this post Link to post
Mario 0 Posted December 9, 2006 NOD had Cabal to give them all the information Share this post Link to post
comander starlin 6 Posted December 20, 2006 that would be wicked if he did that way we would have an incite to the aliens. Share this post Link to post
Luk3us 63 Posted December 20, 2006 No. Cabal translated the Tacitus. Mobius wasn't even around when the Tacitus came into being, which was TS. Share this post Link to post
comander starlin 6 Posted December 20, 2006 ok cool well we straightened up that fact. thanks man Share this post Link to post
Luk3us 63 Posted December 20, 2006 Actually, Kane and the mutant scum Tratos did it before Cabal, but yeah. Share this post Link to post
comander starlin 6 Posted December 20, 2006 i thought tratos was involved but i wasn't 100% on that. Share this post Link to post
TheRoadToDawn 0 Posted December 20, 2006 Did you guys play Tiberian Sun? :? And I wonder if the Tacitus will make a return in C&C3. Share this post Link to post
comander starlin 6 Posted December 20, 2006 yea why wouldn't i? don't forget i have been playing C&C since day 1, that is a good question, remember it for when the next community summit happens Share this post Link to post
Dim4uk 0 Posted December 29, 2006 As good as i remember GDI use the tacitus in FS to find particular info. that info enebled them to build blue zones protected from tiberium or am i wrong? Share this post Link to post
Luk3us 63 Posted December 29, 2006 Well not build blue zones, but reduce the tiberian in the blue zones to nill. Share this post Link to post
comander starlin 6 Posted December 29, 2006 yea that is what i thought a way to try and kill it off. dude they better not kill our aliens off with viris's Share this post Link to post
Cygnus X-1 12 Posted January 4, 2007 Keep in mind that Kane mentions that the Tacitus was at one time in the first war completley decoded, but through a series of "thefts" it managed to escape the grasp of the Black Hand for quite some time. then with having Cabal scattered to bitty pieces and whatnot, lets just say Nod wasnt having much fun. At the end of the GDI ending for FS, they say they've just cracked the Tacitus and it begins unvieling itself to the GDI scientists, and in some of Kings informational posts, he has mentioned (along with EA) that GDI used that info along with thier disruptor technology to find the frequency at which Tiberium resonated, thus allowing them to build powerful harmonic resonance sheilds for the blue zones to keep Tiberium largely at bay. comander starlin 6 Posted January 4, 2007 yea true but wasn't cabal destroyed in FS? Share this post Link to post
Cygnus X-1 12 Posted January 4, 2007 He "was" of course, the ending vid for the Nod campaign proves this wrong yet again, as Cabal would appear to have a basement crib of his own somewhere.... Share this post Link to post
