But let's look at this... the UN (forerunner to GDI) is located in America, is funded overwhelmingly by America, and the majority of its peacekeepers are supplied by America. The UN is in many ways dependant upon American help and military dominance. Cygnus X-1 12 Posted August 24, 2006 The way I saw it in TS....the US military (along with hte rest of the world) was basically reduced to small nation gaurd units sandbagin villages against Tiberium. Notice how on the mission maps the US and Europe was carved up into gold and red splotches all over the place with seemingly not a care for national boundaries. As of 2047, the world has improved somewhat, but the vast majority of it is still in chaos, so neither the US nor any other single nation should have the power to save the planet. That is GDI's job, and 53 years into the Tiberium plague, any and all former national ties are gone by now. As are most of those nations. Its GDI, NOD, or lost cause now, so you'd better choose your allegiance and enlist, before fate catches up to you and you are forced to join the Forgotten..... :wink: Share this post Link to post
