Command And Conquer BOOK Series!!!

Recommended Posts

There is a new kind of C&C on the horizon! It is by Keith R.A. Decandido. It will be for sale on March 27, 2007! Looks like C&C has joined up with the number of games that are published already: Battletech, Mechwarrior, Warhammer, Halo, Perfect Dark, and DOOM.

I just hope it a series of the WHOLE Tiberian Saga:

(Tiberian Dawn>Renegade>Tiberian Sun> Tiberian Wars)

That would be awesome!

So what exactly is it meant to cover?

It's my guess that the guy who is writing this book is probably a guy who's been a huge C&C fan throughout the years and has helped EA substancially write the story for C&C 3.

My best guess is that while we'll be fighting the battles and understanding the story, we will not entirely understand the war until we pick up and read this book. I'm sure that EA will leave out certain plot lines and areas to make sure we pick this up.

I might be wrong, but we'll see.

Oh... oh hell no. This would have been GREAT under Westwood, with the kind of unrestrained creativity they had room to show (without the need for the soul crushing market research), but with EA.... I'm already afraid of where they're taking the game!

I may be, and I hope I AM, proved wrong, but I feel pretty pessimistic about this.

Your pessimistic far to often BWare. :P lol

So you guys reckon it'll be just like a more detailed view on history thus far? I suppose that works...

A cool idea would be to have a novel written from the point of view of Kane, I mean he's been around and he's all knowning so yeah. :D
