There's no way we can "trust" EA, but we can sure give them the benefit of the doubt - and just it on it's own merits. In all fairness... they need to earn our trust.

Maybe you should have... I just looked on the off-chance today, and apparently the latest rumour is that this page is a link to the upcoming demo.

Which would indicate that a possible SP demo is only 13 days away??? I only mention this, becuase the thread is listed as "question answered" in the thread list.

 

And if true, it's possible that the SP demo will be a NOD mission to launch the missle? i wonder if the SP Demo will be a trainer mission like the SW:EAW:FOC demo turned out to be?

 

Happy to be shot down by know-it-alls though...

Firstly there has been nothing from EA indicating the release of a demo.... don't hold your breath waiting for it ok.

 

Secondly, if any demo is released it won't be available at http://www.thebrotherhoodofnod.com, that's not an official EA site, just a fan site with a unique gimmick.

 

If there is a demo to be released you can become one of those suckers who have paid to reserve a download spot on GameSpot (I think), or just wait and get from the many other free sources that it will appear on within 24 hours of it being released.

Well that site being a fansite was my understanding from yours and King's previous posts. I only posted it because it was indicated in the ea forums as "answered" but I don't know who has control of that... which is why I was happy to be shot down.

Yes. I already noticed it. I'm curious too... since I discovered this site (thank to you) I always been on it.

I still think about a particular kind of advertising, which can create hype among the fans - like it did yet with us, if you think about it...
