Sonic 295 Posted December 13, 2006 I wonder though, this 'Pre-Order' package will be shipping with the game, no? Doesn't that make half the features included on it totally redundant? Its a pre-order package, pre-order and pay for the game from Gamestop.com or where ever and they send out that DVD. When it comes to release C&C 3 there will be a collectors edition of the game called the "Kane Edition" packed with all these videos and more. Share this post Link to post

dapperdan 0 Posted December 13, 2006 This pre-order package is only available in the US though on gamestop.com, yes? So, looks like i'll have to import this badboy then. Share this post Link to post
Luk3us 63 Posted December 13, 2006 Just checked out those videos. I like the bit where Kane gets betrayed and the like. Very cool. This game should be wicked. Share this post Link to post
Woofna 0 Posted December 13, 2006 Just checked out those videos. I like the bit where Kane gets betrayed and the like. Very cool. This game should be wicked. I didn't watch those ... I honestly don't like spoilers. It's like if you're going to watch a movie at the theater, and them some asswipe tells you the ending before it starts. Ah, thanks, I didn't want to know that. Meh. But I know now thanks to your terrible words. Now, how does Kane get betrayed? Share this post Link to post
Saracen 16 Posted December 13, 2006 From what I can make out, the plot is as follows. But don't take my word for it. Uber miniaturised for those who don't want the plot spoiled. Some sort of master plan At the "Temple Prime" fails, and Kane's elite forces get ambushed by Nod followers who believe the Scrin are a greater threat than GDI, and do not conform to Kane's beliefs. Apparently the Plan is in some way related to the Scrin, and the attack on the Temple of Nod ruins everything. The world sees this attack and then buries Kane as dead once more. If anyone cares to discuss this, miniaturise any spoiler theories to size "3" as well people  Share this post Link to post

So, do you think Slavik is somehow involved with the Nod force assaulting Kane's elite carde? Share this post Link to post

From what i've read in my GFW mag, you face the Scrin after the first mission on GDI... Wtf, I wanted to have a little classic GDI vs Nod before that... Share this post Link to post
Saracen 16 Posted December 14, 2006 Originally the pecking order to play the story was GDI, Nod, Scrin. But recently the developers say the Scrin come in half way through the game. So the pecking order must be Nod, GDI, Scrin. But I am doubting this now too, since the third leaked video does not make any chronological sense. So I wonder if the GDI & Nod campaigns work in tangent with each other. But produce the same outcome. So you are still getting the same story, but just from a different perspective. Then the Scrin campaign is unlocked after, exposing the ending for which the expansion will continue. You know what, I have no bloody idea how it's going to work since that video has confused the hell outta me. Zee Hypnotist is sworn to silence until the NDA runs out. So I guess we can only really wait for how these campaigns will play out. Share this post Link to post
Luk3us 63 Posted December 14, 2006 Well it makes more sense to have Nod go first since they begin the 3rd tiberian war with the attack on the philly and the pre-emptive strikes on the blue zones. Then you can go either way with GDI or the Scrin. Perhaps they break up the campaigns? So you do 3 Nod missions, 3 GDI missions? That sounds kinda crap though. Hypno, we must lauder the information you know so we can release it to the public. Or at least me anyway. Meh. But I know now thanks to your terrible words. Now, how does Kane get betrayed? That General Chick ambushes his troops after the debacale at Temple Prime, or something to that effect. Share this post Link to post
