1UP.com recently posted an interview with Joe Kucan, known to all C&C fans as the one and only Kane. As expected, Joe answers each question the only way he can, with his clever wit and sense of humor. Here is a sample.

 

GFW: What new stuff are we going to see from Kane in this installment of Command & Conquer?

 

Joe Kucan: A lot of tap dancing, actually. This version, because [C&C3 Executive Producer] Mike Verdu insisted on it, is actually a musical. A lot of people don't know that. Some of the solo numbers I do... oh man, Kane is a great tap dancer. A lot of people are going to be surprised.

Interviews with Joe Kucan are gold in their own right. This was a great read, and well worth the time spent.

 

Interesting though that his brother was in C&C 1. I never really paid much notice. I thought that his first and only appearance in C&C was playing as Jake McNeil, but I was wrong.

 

That slipped the net of the die-hard community then. If everyone was more knowledgeable about Daniel's part in the Tiberium Saga we all would be demanding him back as well!!

 

I wonder if EA would meet those demands for the expansion! I mean after all it's C&C canon isn't it?

And that one scene "At least you Mother tipped well!" lol so unexpected, as soon as I get hope I need to watch that scene.

I especially liked his story about the stealth tank... one RA2 LAN match I played lives in infamy... as my buddy created the game, turned short game off, and preceded to delay the end of the match by hiding three dolphins in obscue places.

 

He really loves that story...

I did that in RA1 with a sub. My mate eventually gave up

Hahhaha! Thats what I did, I just played some random dude that said he wouldn't tank mass/rush in RA1 but he did, but I had a subpen and just put my subs all over the place.

 

The great thing was he kept all his ships together, so it was easy to avoid.
