GameStop.com Pre-Order C&C 3 Video

Recommended Posts

It should've said Kane lives in death as it did in C&C's past.... EA HAS REALLY been ignorant of C&C history after all, they got the tiberium all wrong and it's starting to look like another big mistake like non-C&C Generals did.... *sigh* Let us pray that EA does not make another mistake a reality for crying out loud.... :(

*prepares to be flamed*

Why would it say "Kane lives in death" when he is alive in this game and Kane specifically said "You can't kill the messiah"

Yep I concur with Out2kill. You need to lighten up Mad Cat.

I'm guessing they're going to make a GDI video as well, but they won't convince me!

They made a GDI tactics video, the one really cool part about it is when the Nod Avatar mech gets taken down, then a GDI engineer runs up to it and resurects it to fight for GDI, then the Avatar mech blows the stuffing out of a few Nod units as they run up to attack it

... features a link to a special video featuring Ajay (Josh Holloway)

Nice.

I really prefer this performance compared to short snippet on the pre-order bonus disc. He *may* be okay afterall.

And hopefully they upgrade his little gun from the first movie. Overall, not bad.

I saw that video. But you realise that you can use engies to capture not just the Avatar but also the Juggernaught and Annihilator Tripods as well.

Nice1.

I can ONLY hope that EA got it right this time around, still, the reviews from the fan summit are mainly positive, so let us all hope for the best... but don't think for a second that Westwood couldn't have done it BETTER!

well that leaches the coolness out of it (hey, the one understrength side is the one side that can gank your units)

and how in the name of Kane is a human engineer supposed to take over a tripod alien creature/walker thingy?

At least with the juggernaught, Nod cant use snipers as spotters to increase their range :P

Yeah but a stank will probably be just as good...

Oh wait - I was thinking in terms of Starcraft and their seige tanks that had firing range longer than their site range. But perhaps the snipers have a special button that calls down an artillery strike... kinda similiar to Yuri's Boris and his mig strike.

Over to Zee...

Anyone know whether you can stick an engineer in your own juggernaut type unit when it gets killed to resurect it? Would be a bit silly if the enemy could do it but our guys couldn't for some reason! Would be a little safer to use them if you could get them back if they went down. Keep an apc close full of engineers and either re-take your units or take theirs, whoevers goes down first!

Also do you reckon they stay there for the capture long or do they disappear, just wondering if someone could go and collect them like 30 mins later?

It will be like the junk piles for the GLA in Generals, there, but gone soon

as far as resurecting your own units...makes perfect sense. And seeing as how in skirmished GDI engies can capture GDI Juggernaughts, they should be able to resurect their own.

The GDI sniper has a bonus thing where he can call in an artillery strike from the juggernaught outside of its normal range (I think, some allusions were made to this in various interviews and videos)
