F15pilotX 4 Posted April 11, 2007 This is an interesting program. Two people across the web can run this program, and create "networks" that the computer(s) will see so that, say you want to play cnc3 online without all the hassle, you can just click network, and play each other 1v1,2v2, w/e Hamachi Link It really helped me, for example, because cnc3 online just takes long to load, then freezes Share this post Link to post
Guest Jamie T Posted April 11, 2007 no, only ppl with ilegal version use it (at least the ppl who got ilegal i know that) Share this post Link to post

Requires IPX and I despise IPX. Share this post Link to post
Cygnus X-1 14 Posted April 11, 2007 You could just a good comp and a good connection and then your C&C3 wont freeze  Share this post Link to post

TheBlackOut 7 Posted April 11, 2007 Hamachi is great for older games and illegals but thats bout it. Share this post Link to post
sith_wampa 6 Posted April 12, 2007 As long as your computer isn't crappy or old you shouldn't have so many problems with C&C3's online play. :? Share this post Link to post
Sonic 298 Posted April 12, 2007 Nope. Requires IPX and I despise IPX. Agreed, you shouldn't have to install aging network protocols to play modern games. You could just a good comp and a good connection and then your C&C3 wont freeze  That would probably solve a lot of these connection issues that people have reported about C&C3. If they don't meet the requirements they shouldn't be even attempting to play the game. I would be surprised if people out there are trying to play via 56k dial up. Share this post Link to post
Thierry 0 Posted April 12, 2007 I just Hamachi for mods just fine, all you need is the program itself. It does occasionaly tend to kick people of a game during the setup period (not in the game itself) but other then that it beats EA servers. Share this post Link to post
Cygnus X-1 14 Posted April 12, 2007 Some like it, some dont...Thierry has a dancing Kane in his sig...WHAT IS THE WORLD COMING TO?!? In other news.... Why people try to play it with below par comps and then complain is beyond me....I havent tried because Generals, Renegade, and EAW taught me a very important lesson. My computer SUX. So I dont bother trying anymore on it. Why other people dont get that when it takes one and a half days to get your infantry across the map still boggles my mind Share this post Link to post

F15pilotX 4 Posted April 14, 2007 My pc plays it fine at low detail, and I don't have the money to upgrade it right now, and won't for a while seeing I'm about to buy a car....I didn't notice any lag using Hamachi with cnc3 beyond the normal lag I would get in generals Share this post Link to post
