Kinda nice, but would be nicer if they made it like 30 min or 1 hour :P

I'm glad Apoc decided to use the audio from what probably is the Best video in C&C history... You can't knock Kane's reappearance in Tiberian Sun... absolutely epic.

That was a good podcast.. anything with Joe in is good, but that's not the point... Loved the Bikini reference though, that was a classic :P

Definitely one of the best cutscenes in the series.

Anyway, great interview. Hilarious as usual. Joe is ace.

I really do hope that they're telling the truth about the Tiberian Sun 'feel'. It's hard to trust anything EA says at this point... :?

But it must be true, Kane himself said it.

LONG LIVE THE MESSIAH!

I hope its enough TD feel like TW was, but sufficient amount TS for the TS fans (Im not that much of a TS fan meself, hence my liking TW).

But to be frank, i doubt it.

For the TS feel, you need the original units/buildings, original tiberium fauna/flora, ionstorms and design style/color sheme/FMV direction.

And what they showed doesnt look like that at all.

Hmm this is an interesting an important point... TS was a universe where earth was overrun by Tiberium right - so a WHOLE lot really does need to change to recreate that feel... with the items you suggested for a start.

I for one, don't have my hopes up. Although I do expect to get some questions answered, I'm not really thinking I'll be satisfied.

Better to go in with low expectations and be suprised by extra good points rather than dissapointed with a lucklustre experience based on my... er 'wet dreams' so to speak. Well that's my philosophy, and it's got me through many a bad movie!!!

I'm sure as development of Kane's Wrath rolls on we will learn more about how it ties in with the events from Tiberian Sun and Firestorm.

I do get this strange feeling that we won't actually be seeing any recognisable structures/units etc. from Tiberian Sun and Firestorm.

Just went back and edited my post. I missed out a key word.

The feeling I get is that so far EA have promoted Kane's Wrath with its campaign to tie up loose ends from TS/FS as one of it's selling point but so far the early screens and previews mention nothing of it.

Still early days though.

I won't mind if they have old buildings and units pop up in Act 1. But please don't have them available as proper units for any of the sides, I mean it would just be weird having "Old GDI" and "Old Nod" units going up against units nearly 30 years in the future... ;)

Yeah the optimal approach would be ACT1 units only, then they can leave the assets intact for the modders!

Even if they were 'critters' ala starcraft, or abandoned buildings ala tibsun. My guess though, as said elsewhere/earlier is loose storyline tied up with current units.

Still no reason not to hope for the best!

This is an awsome idea and every EA member thats concerned with KW should read this.

I was thinking (not that I want them to) that they would have an old faction, C&C3 faction, and a future faction for GDI and Nod and maybe just some weird stuff for Scrin.
