Changes to the Forum Design

As you can see at the top of the page the header section of the forums has been changed. A new look logo/background with a new navigation bar below that.

 

All the stuff related to your profile, private messaging, login/logout is to the left. On the right is the standard navigation to various other sections of the forums.

 

The change was made to break away from the standard phpBB forum style. I should also note that only the cncnzBlueRes style has been updated. All other styles remain unchanged. I may update the cncnzPurple, cncnzV8 and cncnzRemix styles though.

When I talked to Sonic last on MSN he said so. Then I learned he hates the phrase sister site. He prefers the term "that other site".

Yeah i think it was because it implies that the sites are female.

It's a British thing. when our cars struggle up hills or fails to start on a cold morning we're like "Come on Girl!"

 

Or when in business in Britain, if you refer to a smaller company or one of equal status, then you refer to it as a "Sister"....

 

Anyway, as for the layout I spent a good 10 minutes browsing the forums there without reading the mirrored thread. Not once did I realise the change. But nevertheless I like it, it looks tidier and more importantly it looks fresh.

How could you not notice it? That was the first thing I noticed.. Looking very good imo. It'll be good on the sister site too.

The following forums styles have all been updated to match the recent change to the cncnzBlueRes style.

• - C&C 3 Nod Theme

[*]cncnzV8 - C&C 3 GDI Theme

[*]cncnzRemix - RA2 Theme

[*]cncnzPurple - TS Theme

[*]cnc10 - C&C Theme

• If your using any these styles you may need to refresh/reload your browser.

 

The older cncnzBlue style has been deleted.
