Gben 20 Posted December 27, 2007 I'm listening to the OST for UAW... which you can download also for free. Learn more about it here from our sister site... http://forums.petro-gamers.com/viewtopic.php?p=2905#2905 But it made me think about music in KW? Do we know anything yet? Share this post Link to post
Luk3us 63 Posted December 27, 2007 I think there have been a few little "tastes" from the trailers and such, but nothing that concrete, I imagine it'll probably be similar to C&C3. Share this post Link to post
Sonic 295 Posted December 27, 2007 Yeah I agree with Luk3us. It will probably more of the same non-eventful, uninspiring music that was featured in C&C 3. I've said it before and I'll say it again. Steve Jablonsky is a talented composer but not for something like a C&C game. What annoys me the most is the fact that EA said they were aware of the fans concern over the music and their audio team were studying Fank Klepacki's previous work and fans would not be disappointed. Did EA and Steve Jablonsky even listen to the soundtracks for C&C and Tiberian Sun? Its almost as if something went bad somewhere during the development. Remember, it was revealed that EA actually inquired about the services of Fank Klepacki to find out if he could do the soundtrack. And how about the fact when you watch Battlecast PrimeTime you hear the older C&C music and practically none of the new stuff from C&C 3? Share this post Link to post
Gben 20 Posted December 27, 2007 Well we'll wait and see what APOC has for us, but surely the music was universally panned, and EA will take note? Well I can dream can't I??? Share this post Link to post
Redmond Boyle 0 Posted December 27, 2007 CnC3's music got me into using Winamp while playing games on computer. and I'm really not expecting any good soundtracks for CnCs. Share this post Link to post
Gben 20 Posted December 28, 2007 yeah this is how I'm playing c&c3 now... Share this post Link to post
Guest Rabbit Posted December 28, 2007 One thing I noticed at the summit is that the music is similar, but for whatever reason it's more noticeable. Share this post Link to post

Gben 20 Posted December 28, 2007 ok so I'll cross my fingers then. (hope he can take constuctive criticism!) ;p Share this post Link to post
hagren 0 Posted December 28, 2007 I think its okay that for once there was a CnC without Klepacki music, and i do have my fav tunes from TW. Its nothing youll listen to separately (Unlike the RA2 soundtrack ), but it sets the mood and is quite dark, more like a real underlining soundtrack then in-your-face-music. Only complaint i have is that the songs are too short, thus rendering them quite unremarkable. Some flesing out and were set. Share this post Link to post

recover 2 Posted January 11, 2008 The funniest thing is that when I think back on all those hours of C&C3, I have no damn idea what the music sounds like. It honestly feels like I've been playing with the music on mute... except I haven't!! I've seen that there are several mods which add old C&C music to C&C3. One thing I don't get is why there isn't any jukebox? IMO every game should have a jukebox where you can add your own mp3's and stuff. Oh well... Share this post Link to post
Gben 20 Posted January 12, 2008 I do remember some tracks. the only one I remember is the equivalent to a periodic stomp, which I associate with the avatars. But I like your comment... 150+ hrs, and I can name a tune. sad. Share this post Link to post
