made me smile...

A PAID POLITICAL ANNOUNCEMENT BY SEN.

BARACK OBAMA (D- ILL)

My fellow Identity-Americans:

As your future President I want to thank

my supporters, for their ... well, support.

Your mindless support of me, despite my

complete lack of any legislative achievement, my pastor's relations with

Louis Farrakhan and Libyan dictator Moamar Quadafi, or my blatantly

leftist voting record while I present myself as some sort of bi-partisan

agent of change.

I also like how my supporters claim my

youthful drug use and criminal behavior somehow qualifies me for the

Presidency after 8 years of claiming Bush's youthful drinking

disqualifies him. Your hypocrisy is a beacon of hope shining over a sea

of political posing.

I would also like to thank the Kennedy's

for coming out in support of me. There's a lot of glamour behind the

Kennedy name, even though JFK started the Vietnam War, his brother

Robert illegally wiretapped Martin Luther King, Jr. and Teddy killed a

female employee he was having an extra marital affair with who was

pregnant with his child. And I'm not going anywhere near the cousins,

both literally and figuratively.

And I'd like to thank Oprah Winfrey for

her support. Her love of meaningless empty platitudes will be the force

that propels me to the White House.

Americans should vote for me, not

because of my lack of experience or achievement, but because I make

people feel good. Voting for me causes some white folk to feel relieved

of their imagined, racist guilt.

I say things that sound meaningful, but

don't really mean anything because Americans are tired of things having

meaning. If things have meaning, then that means you have to think about

them.

Americans are tired of thinking.

It's time to shut down the brain, and

open up the heart.

So when you go to vote in the primaries,

remember don't think, just do.

And do it for me.

Thank You.

Edited your post to get rid of some spaces and what not. But, meh, all I can say is tl;dr, and I really don't know if this is the place to discuss this.

Barack is the better out of the Dems and if John lost I wouldn't mind, but if you remember, I'm supportive of John McCain and have been. :)

Go McCain. McCain is a cool name. His vice president is McAbel.

Hilary doesn't have enough experience either. Yes, she has more experience in the White House itself. Make her the tour guide.

If Obama is elected at least this generation can say they elected a black guy and if Hilary is elected  for the country to survive, I don't care if she is a girl SHE HAS CRIED NOT ONE BUT TWO TIMES ON THE CAMPAIGN TRAIL I just don't think that someone who has cried twice on the campaign trail is tough enough to lead the US (plus I don't like some of her views :P)

Yea but where did you get that from my statement? I was just saying voting for him just to say your generation did something no other did before for the hell of doing it is retarded. At least like him for his views, etc, which some his I do, but alas, I am a McCain supporter.

Even if we did elect him for the simple fact no one else had, he's no worse than what we have now. So my point remains valid.

It stands, but why quote me? I wasn't disagreeing with that idea or even proposing it.

Joke I heard today about Obama and McCain:

"Obama: Simon says, touch your head.

McCain: I can't! Simon says explain your policies.

Obama: I can't!"

I thought it was funny at least :P

Well I don't really like any of the candidate's stances too much, I have to actually research some of this stuff though.

It was the idea that popped into my head, and it stuck. Why are you making such a big deal out of my comment, which was a bit of a joke anyway?

Because at the time, Bush seemed the better choice...and I don't recall 'blasting' you...that would be BWare's job :P (or was...)

If you want to call the "why are you.." I could say why are you dragging this on right back... Your quote seemed to seem as if you were trying to argue/debate when I didn't see any contradiction and besides, I was just curious as to why quote me when the idea really had nothing to do with my post, now we know.

Lol Bush the better choice. And you and Bware were like a combined force... :P
