osey 2003 0 Posted June 3, 2004 playing on the european or pacific servers i usualy get arround 30 games on each server, i dont use gamespy though sonic i think WOL is great but you usualy do find more servers on gamespy..... Share this post Link to post
chickendippers 1 Posted June 4, 2004 Well servers can be run on WOL and Gamepsy at the same time. Share this post Link to post
General immeyourenot 0 Posted June 4, 2004 Since my last post i have stopped using gamespy (not because its bad, just because i found a faster way). I now use a program called SSG to join Renegade games! It is a small program that works as an anti-cheat as well as a game joiner. If you know a servers IP then you can join any game in seconds. It saves IP along with game info & shows who is playing etc. You can usually find IPs from gamespy & it comes pre-programed with the 'seven' server (the best server around) IP. It is a small download & very fast to load. GET IT GET IT GET IT Download it at www.seven-in-action.com Share this post Link to post
Sonic 296 Posted June 7, 2004 I finally got around to installing GameSpy Arcade and then updating it..... I can play Renegade online again I played a couple of games last night.... I sucked, I was so out if practise, it happens when you haven't played in 3 months I guess. It was good to play again though. If your on the GameSpy server look for me under the name SonicNZ2. Hopefully one day I can get back on to WOL. Share this post Link to post
chickendippers 1 Posted June 7, 2004 The best thing to do is to check RenGuard for the server list and join servers that are AOL & GSA, so we can play together. Share this post Link to post

Sonic 296 Posted June 8, 2004 If they are GSA servers I'll be around from time to time. No can do with the WOL servers though. Share this post Link to post
General immeyourenot 0 Posted June 8, 2004 I'm glad it worked for you! I had the same problem once........ Always happy to help! I wouldnt wish not being able to play Renegade on anyone, even Gaz! Hope to see you online, the more skilled players the better! Share this post Link to post
chickendippers 1 Posted June 8, 2004 There's a server aplication called "WOLSpy" if a server's running it, the server will show up on WOL and GSA Share this post Link to post
Sonic 296 Posted June 9, 2004 I see that [WOLSpy] in some of the server names on GSA. Share this post Link to post
