and would you be surprised if kelloggs turned around and announced they have a secret biochemical project going on? XD admitedly it's very unlikely but i wouldn't be surprised... besides, kelloggs isn't -quite- big enough. i was thinking more microsoft x3 but they'd probably be taking over the world with viruses and mechs XD maybe biochemical stuff too later on. who knows @.@

simply put we just don't know what goes on behind the scenes... for all we know kelloggs could turn out to be the largest arms dealer in the world or something XD or they could have major stocks in BAE or something. go figure :3

Some big companies ruin lives but that's a select few. Most corporations provide a steady career for a lot of people. If that's ruining lives, you're dumber than you appear to be.

a big company can often be good for a small town. lotsa jobs correct... but the problem is they have too much power. they can make or break the whole town so they have a monopoly over it o.o

You'd be surprised how much power the employees have, especially if you work hard and make a name for yourself. You can't just sit back, do the bare minimum and expect much. That's the people you're envisioning. Most of us, work really hard to make a name, keep the job and move up.

 

Not to mention, they provide excellent health benefits, excellent retirement opportunities and the like. That is still helping people.

let's face it here... all you rebels and anarchists forget the fact that we need things like big evil companies to survive. even mother russia has big companies. what do you think all those factories are where the people work at? xD and yah. they do give good health plans and such... we have a love hate relationship with them. we despise them but we need them. go figure. no working government could survive without large scale companies o.o small companies yes but like it was said, they get bigger xD
