You're starting to sound like me, I don't advise it, I'm the only critic around here!! ;)

The video was very well made in my opinion. Graphically very fluid and well thought out, which made it enjoyable. Afterall you can get some trailers this length and by the time you're half way through, you'd just wish it'd hurry up and end (usually making you want back those few minutes of your life), but this one was spot on, and to be honest, it all seemed over too quickly.

The only thing I would say that's growing a little tiring are the battles in the trailers. We saw a stack of them with C&C 3 and Kane's Wrath, and the tradition seems to be continuing here. There have to be points in a game where a huge battle or explosive moment can make you shout "Oh Snap!"... A little change of pace and away from the battles would be great. I'm not trying to put a downer on it, but it'd be nice to experience some battles when we play the game where we haven't seen explosion animation X, or unit animation Y.

For the pure sake of the franchise, I'd like to see the game portrayed in more than just a mere 1 dimensional product where battles, and explosions are the only selling point. 2008 hasn't been a great year for the RTS (nice to not have a load of clones for once), so it would be nice to make the genre appear to have a bit more in depth than it usually does.

The only good thing in the video was Hell March 3.

You sir, are now officially scrapped from my list of "People who make sense and/or have a soul" :P

No, really, this trailer was absolutely epic, and if someone did not like it, then he must have very foul taste or having some bias against EA- The music, the voice-over, the editing was all very well done, and the Japanese look nothing short of breathtaking, and did even sound quite innovative in the article. They have tons of style, there are many lovely details, heck, even their logo looks cool. EA, I think you just created the coolest game of all time. Your sins may be forgiven if everything goes right.

Even when I'm an avid anti-EA C&C fan, I have to say this trailer is kickass. Seriously, the way each unit is presented is simply awesome (the Japanese flag behind them and King Oni's pose...).

HM3 sounds really cool too. You can obviously sense Klepacki based it in the original HM. My two favorite parts where: 1)when the King Oni's posing. The guitar at that moment suits perfectly the concept of a giant piece of battlefield-owning technology that is the Oni. 2)And when the group of Seawings is shown. That moment had this excellent moment that somehow reminds me of those old school 80's Made in Japan console video games; you know, those where the main character was a 2d starship with seemingly endless fuel that blasted enemies in land and sky.

I wish I could've heard it clearer but the game sounds weren't helping. oh, well. I'll have to wait 'till I get the game, the soundtrack or someone posts the music in YouTube.

Well, all I have to say is that the Nippon Teikoku will be ownage.

BTW, does anyone know what does that symbol actually represents?

I'd like someone from Japan decypher all the historical/cultural background seen in the trailer/screenies/preview as well :)

Well I liked the unit highlights - they were well down. I couldn't hear HW3 well enough though in the 30mb download. Not all the Empire units are walkers - there's a dragonfly unit!!! Apparenlty transforms to a walking unit with it's tail behind the back. Funny.

I like the seawing thing too.

This trailer is AWESOME! I loved everything about it, graphics, units, and especially HM3!

I got to say "Great job EA!" and "Fantastic music Frank!"

I thought they were going to go with aircraft that hover in place when attacking and stationary? The Japanese planes seem to be continuously moving.

Also the Allied Dolphins seem to be much bigger than the Seawing which doesn't seem right
