Why do CDs Break!!

Recommended Posts

I can't say since I've never used any LiteOn drives. I used to have LiteOn monitor though, I had no problems with it.

I just know the CyberDrive brand is crap from personal experience. I think DeadEye (one of moderators here) can also back me up on that. I remember him telling me once he purchased a CyberDrive DVD Rom that gave him nothing but trouble.

I don't know bro I never tried anything from CyberDrive. My computer still has his original parts except that I have added 60GB to my hard drive space.

Does anyone know what ''burn proof'' means?

Apparently my Plextor can do it but i don't know what it means :?

well, I geuss it could mean 2 things.

1: Your RW won't burn up or explode or anything like that.

2: Your RW won't destroy your CD's or burn them accidentely and hus make them useless, I think its something like that.

Or maybe it only means that it can't get a sunburn...

Burn Proof is something they developed to prevent buffer underruns when burning CDs. All recent CD Burners support this feature.

well cds arent the only things that break what you should really do (hopefully at a friends house) #1.you can toss some gas, oil, and anything else flammable throw a match from a distance and hope you dont get burned or #2. open up the cds files on the hard drive and mess with them then play it  (i do that one ALOT)

My ZH cd broke a few nights ago, I got a new 1 but that cost me 30 euros...

It had a crack in it and became unreadable.

Some people say thats because of EA's cheap manufacturing. They use crap plastic or something.
