Just draw me as a tall, skinny, white guy with a medium sized gingerish brownish afro, in jandels, camo boardshorts and a t-shirt that has a nuclear mushroom cloud on it, and since you keep asking for details a chunky casio watch on my left wrist and a flick knife in my right hand

 

Edit: you can just make me leaning against biobens tree, or sitting on a branch

i had people playing games with me over the past few months, but since christmas happened i've got a -mountain- of crap to play. not to mention now everyone has the games i have so i'm pretty much constantly gaming >.<;

...how can i have any progress? >-> i haven't started yet. i told you guys i have too much crud to do right now. problem is there is going to be a -lot- of work involved with this picture... admitedly i'm not doing anything right this second but trying to get my head around where everyone is gonna be is giving me a headache c.c

 

i need to read all the previous posts and work out what actual information i have. i'll edit the post when i've done that then maybe begin work okies? ^-^;

I'm just the pissed off angry bastard with a beard that comes into this bar, has a beer and a cigar who then disappears again back to go moan some more.

...which completely writes off gben's character too =.= ah well whatever. i'm starting with luk3us as at second glance i don't know anything about bioben's body build o.o as default i'm assuming you are all standard builds in that geeky anime male kinda way. so if you have a lil extra pudge for the luffin' or a heavy muscle build or whatever, it would be helpful to know o.o

hokie. i still need more info from the rest of you :\ i started a little work when i last posted but i ended up getting dragged away to do other things. so far all i have is a -very- sketchy couple of lines of luk3us done, just to get the position down right. trying to picture the whole scene and work out every little detail, as well as trying to work out where every little muscle/bone/fat would be on a person without having one of those little wooden dolls or a life figure is a real mindbork.

 

but y'know i haven't got anything to do right now. not too keen on really drawing this moment but i might as well. got a few hours until mom gets up so i'll see if i can at least get a basic figure drawn, maybe even a whole body ^-^

problem is i don't like having it left -too- open... but whatever. once again i'm gonna do some work on it. if (when!) i finish a character's line art and scan it, i'll upload it here before colouring so you can see any progress. what i'm gonna do is draw each character by themselves and bung them all into one big pile in photoshop :3 i -could- draw them all in one big go but it would be impossible to do on A4 paper :\

 

i'll try and do this as often as i can. but y'know... i'm in the middle of a D&D 3.5e campaign online which lasts upwards of 5 hours a night, plus maintaining a presence on L4D... plus half a dozen books, 8 graphic novels, over 20 dvds, half a dozen games and additional artwork projects. i know all that seems pretty trivial but with all those things to distract me (tv also!) they tend to draw me away from artwork.

 

if you wanna get me to do more work on the picture, give me more information on characters. cos that will have more of a guilt-trip effect on me then people just saying "c'mon! when are you gonna do it?"

hokie! like i said, i have been working just be it slowly. tonight was one of the few nights that nothing much was happening. digitalelysium.com, the site most of my D&D party used for storing their character sheets, has mysteriously gone down without any reason why. thus no D&D. my boytoy is also gone for the weekend... aaand nothing has been on tv. so yah, i didn't have much done previously but earlier tonight (this morning?) i sat down and pencilled out luk3us's character...

 

though to be honest it's probably all you will get out of me for tonight seeing as so far i've been up over 36 hours without sleep and i'm hallucinating. anyhow here's the sketch:

 

 

just take into account this is the first time i've drawn anything in over a year... i know there is some sizing difference in body limbs and such, the majority of it is meant to be like that (left leg being forward, closer to the camera whereas the right leg is outwards further away) but once again you guys haven't given me enough description so i've had to work with what i had. i'm sure luk3us doesn't actually look that much like a pixie in real life XD

 

so yah. gimmie more details for you all, and any -CONSTRUCTIVE- critism (how can i make the picture kickass if you just say it sucks?) and hopefully the full picture full be in colour. i don't know why but if you leave me alone with a pencil outline for more then a couple of minutes i end up shading everything. makes it look real pretty but it's horrible to work with when converting into colour ._.

yey ^^ well i'll try and either sketch out another person, or colour your's... depending on what i feel i have the energy for x3;

 

but y'know. it's a start anyhow! :3 hopefully i will end up finishing this picture before i turn 30.

actually let's just say "i hope i end up finishing this picture" that way i have a longer deadline

 

also, i remember a few years ago me and an online friend decided to make a star wars/aliens crossover manga. of course i was a much worse artist then this (not that i'm good anyhow) and i was trying to do it in photoshop. the downside is that whilst i was doing the artwork, he was doing the written stuff. the plot, the script, the character descriptions and so on. and his laptop broke after about a week. by the time everything was fixed he grew bored of it. though i would like to see such a manga happen, methinks it's gonna need a tad more improvement :\

 

that said, a wars or trek crossover against aliens is definately something i want to do. methinks i'll find some people who i constantly talk to and who have as high knowledge in those subjects as me, then it will happen! :3

 

i know i know. i'm going off on another tangent when i've only just started this project. but the thing is i need to multi-task. that way i'm always in the mood for -something- i'm doing... i'll try to keep up work on the CNCNZ pic though x3
