spark 0 Posted October 31, 2008 I understand that the composers for the Red Alert 3 Soundtrack are Frank Klepacki & James Hannigan with Timothy Michael Wynn, but I would like to find out who exactly composed which tracks... All I know is that Frank composed HM3 and Grinder 2. What about the rest? iTunes only gave me the generic "Various Artists" for the Artist Part. Thanks in advance for any help. KingMonkey 0 Posted November 1, 2008 As I understand it, Frank Klepacki updated Hell March and Grinder. James Hannigan wrote the Soviet Anthem theme and the music for the Empire of the Rising Sun and Timothy Wynn did the rest. Why they don't encode the soundtrack with the composer names is beyond me. It's almost insulting. Share this post Link to post

Luk3us 63 Posted November 22, 2008 Yes, I would like to be able to name all the tracks on my mp3 player. Track 32 and track 12 don't sound that great. Share this post Link to post
Sonic 295 Posted November 22, 2008 Track names and the order.... taken as a screen shot from my collection. Easier and quicker that way Mine has 45 tracks though, number 45 is the RA3 Remix. Had the MP3 so just included in there myself. Share this post Link to post
Luk3us 63 Posted November 22, 2008 Where did you get the track list Sonic? Oh and thanks for the list. Share this post Link to post
Sonic 295 Posted November 22, 2008 Various sources, I forget exactly where. And how can you not like track 32? The Red Menace.... you know that's Frank's work right Share this post Link to post
Alphabear 11 Posted November 23, 2008 The track list appeared in itunes automatically for me Share this post Link to post
Inferno 22 Posted November 23, 2008 Various sources, I forget exactly where. And how can you not like track 32? The Red Menace.... you know that's Frank's work right I think he means track *insert random number* doesn't sound as good as the real track title. Share this post Link to post
Gben 20 Posted December 1, 2008 I was quite surprised the premiere edition didn't include a track listing with the game. I can understand it not being available through itunes and windows media player and others, because they largely rely on someone to input the information... but surely someone at the marketing department at EALA should have been tasked with doing this before the games release. I'm assuming you have the composer information by now, otherwise I can post later if you like. Share this post Link to post
Alphabear 11 Posted December 1, 2008 Mine had all the track details, only thing missing was the artist details just had "various artists". Share this post Link to post
Gben 20 Posted December 1, 2008 Sorry, I meant I'm not suprised the information wasn't available through itunes and windows media player on the day it was released, especially for the people who have pre-ordered. When I insetred via itunes when I eventually got it, it found the info easily enough, windoze media player took a while. But is there now. cddb.org has the track listings, but not the composer credits in the webs search. I can do a screenshot of composer breakdowns - but I'm too lazy at the moment. I have to say, again, I really like Timothy's work. Share this post Link to post
Saracen 16 Posted December 1, 2008 Both topics on the soundtrack have been merged... Seamlessly too! Share this post Link to post
Sonic 295 Posted December 1, 2008 I think there still some confusion with a few of the track names though. For example track 32, is it called "The Red Menace" or "Nuclear Death"? Plus I've seen Frank himself refer to it as "Soviet Up Yours" Both topics on the soundtrack have been merged... Seamlessly too! Come in handy that merge tool Share this post Link to post
Gben 20 Posted December 1, 2008 (I thought I noticed the timelines converging, it wasn't that seamless!) Time for APOC to step up then and remove the confusion. Share this post Link to post
Duke 0 Posted December 2, 2008 You know maybe they just couldn't decide on a name so it can be any of those... Share this post Link to post
