BlyTwo 0 Posted November 2, 2008 (edited) there is extremely likely to be a C&C4 eventually, what do you think it would be like? This is also kind of on this topic Edited November 2, 2008 by BlyTwo Share this post Link to post
darthbrandon 0 Posted November 3, 2008 idk but i hope its beter than cnc3 was as far as the story and that it will finally fill in the holes in story from firestorm to tibwars. Mabe show the scrin homeworld and have fighting on diff planets thtd be sweet and it could work with all the space tech GDI has Share this post Link to post
Inferno 22 Posted November 4, 2008 I'm guessing at Generals 2 but hoping for C&C4. Share this post Link to post
Psycho 78' 0 Posted March 5, 2009 A new generals would be cool. C&C 4 would be great. What i really want is a whole Tib wars game including all the missions from Dawn and Tib Sun, and Firestorm and throw in C&C3 and add the 4th one in there too...just so it won't be so damn hard to understand the story line to the whole Tiberium war. Gben 20 Posted March 6, 2009 Ha - even if they were all in the same game - it would *still* be confusing! Share this post Link to post
pawkyfox 0 Posted March 10, 2009 I would really want them to continue the Tiberian universe...after C&C 3, we need some other C&C to ocntinue the Tiberian storyline... Share this post Link to post
Malevolence 6 Posted March 15, 2009 EA should just finish the story instead of a cliffhanger and making fans speculate nonsense and wait and wait and wait... Share this post Link to post
Crusader1 0 Posted April 10, 2009 Am all for cnc 4 if they do go a head with it some day but Generals I could never get in to it I like the game its just that I could never get in to it like I can do with normal cnc. So I do not know about Generals 2 if EA are planing to go a head with that. Share this post Link to post
Malevolence 6 Posted April 12, 2009 If they are planning on C&C4 I hope that they try not to make the storyline too draggy and boring. C&C3's GDI campaign was dead boring. I am looking forward to a brand new title creation. Yes, it will! in August 2009 in Germany will be announced the next part of C&C and to the series of Tiberium! Source? I always hate the "secret person" talks. Share this post Link to post
hagren 0 Posted May 24, 2009 Could you tell us a bit more? But why do they wait until Cologne? E3 may be bigger this year. Share this post Link to post
Guest Stevie_K Posted June 9, 2009 (edited) Its 10-20 years from now, you are worth billions and so you decide to go ahead and make anither CNC game because of your love of the series and the fact that there hasnt been a new one in the past 10-20 years. If you actually got the chance to do so, what would you make your CNC game like? From managing resources to deciding unit stats, names and much more. If I had that oppertunity and money, I would take all the elements I liked the most from the Tiberian universe and put it into a new game. It could possibly be named Tiberian Twilight The most important thing for the game would have to be the whole atmosphere. If I look back at Tiberian Sun and the Firestorm expansion pack, I clearly know that that games whole feel got a special place in my heart and brain. When I play it I really get this nostalgic awesome feeling. The whole "sci-fi but not too sci-fi" world that is half destroyed, corrupted by war, mutants and the toxic tiberium makes my brain tickle. It's that kind of feel a really good game must have, no matter the cost or time. The music really needs to fit the visual of the game. If possible I would pay for the permission to use some of Frank Klepackie's TS tracks to give people the feel of a C&C comeback. The reason I wouldn't ask Frank to compose new, is that I think it would be great to also have some new air into the system. The story of the game would also be very important to me, and I would probably ask or hire the original westwood writers to do just that for the sake of the fans. As long as no Yuri or Yuri-kos suddently enters the story (yeah I know the last one came from EA) It would just mean alot to me, to keep the Tiberian universe at a "Serious" state. A thing that bothered me with C&C3, was the lightning and the cities/landscapes. It wasen't a percentage as detailed as TS was. To hell with expensive graphics if it can't carry the details. Lost towns with a lonely survivor standing on a parking lot next to a gas station and a solar panel, hoping one day to be seen by the GDI transports in the sky. A Mutant group living in a barrel-shaped bunker with a glasshouse they can grow some vegetables in. A war torn road through the tundra leading to a little frozen town surounded by tall cliffs. A sudden Ion storm appears and your radar is out, It's a bit of a chalenge to what's left of your titans through that maze of cliffs now. You don't see stuff like that in C&C3. But it's stuff like that I think made TS as good as it is. And that kind of stuff made me a fan C&C. Anyway, I wouldn't dissapoint anyone if I had the chance to be part of developing a new C&C in the story of the Tiberian universe, and listening to fans would be highly priored. KUba 0 Posted July 8, 2009 This morning, the UK office of Electronic Arts posted a banner headline via its private Twitter feed, which is only open to members of the games press. The 105 character tweet speaks for itself: "EA_UK_PR New release: EA LOS ANGELES ANNOUNCES THE DEVELOPMENT OF COMMAND & CONQUER 4 http://bit.ly/LOk6R." The compressed link, however, does not speak for anything, leading merely to the Electronic Arts press site where the most recent announcement is for the forthcoming Fight Night Round 4 DLC. http://www.blogcdn.com/www.joystiq.com/med...er080709580.jpg http://cncczech.com/index.php Share this post Link to post
